Summary: don't know why people hate it
Review: like the other review. i saw this film as a young kid and absolutly loved it. and as i watch it again as i am older i still enjoy it even though the acting is really cheesy and all the other bad things about it. but i don't know why people hate it. this film is a classic and should be loved by people of all ages...then again. maybe just kids. but if you think about it. this is not really a kids film when it shows people steel things and smoke. so who is this film for. if your a teenager you get laughed at. adult would probably rather die than watch this. hmm. but i love at. and i am not telling you my age

Summary: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - A Childhood Classic
Review: For anyone who used to be a popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon watcher, or toy collector, this movie will bring all your childhood memories back. When I was about 4 years old, I grew to love the Ninja Turtles. They were the best toys anyone could get, I had them all, and still do. After buying this movie to watch for the thousanth time, I learned the true value of it. At the start I just thought it was a fighting fun action movie. But after watching it now, being 15 years old, it means more than that. The great movie brought back all my memories and the good times. This movie is perfect for anyone who enjoys the Ninja Turtles. It is better than the 2nd and 3rd movie also. Buy this movie if you are a fan, it's great.

Summary: AT LAST.. IT'S ON DVD...
Review: Believe it or not, the first time we bought this movie, it was on a Betamax tape. When I told my children that "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is now available on DVD, they all jumped with joy. I thought they were now a bit older, but that did not stop them or me from ordering this DVD.. We like the comdey, we like the virtues, we like the music.

Summary: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Perfection.
Review: Okay, ever since I was a kid, I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle animated television series. My attention came to the show somewhere around 1992 or so since I was only a year old when the series aired, so I was kind of a late-bloomer among TMNT fans. But three of the four forms of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles don't please me: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series (okay, it's cool, but it still comes up short), the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic series (which was the beginning of TMNT; not some video game), and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation live-action television series that was on Fox in the fall of 1998. What form of TMNT does that leave us with? The movies.

My definite favorite of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies is this one. The plot doesn't go just skin-deep. This movie isn't just about teenage turtle mutants fighting crime; its main theme is family. This film really goes into the brotherhood that the turtles share, and the father-son relationship that they share with their mentor and ninja master Splinter.

For those of you that are preparing to click the back button on your browsers, please just hold on one more second. Even if you're not the kind of person that goes for "chick flicks," don't fear; there's something in this film for everybody. There's great humor, (for the lack of a better word) awesome fighting, perfect drama, and wonderful characters brought to life by excellent acting. All of the turtles and Splinter have perfect-fitting voice-actors, the actress that did April O'Neil in this film did a great job, and whoever did the acting and voice-acting for Shredder should get big pats on the back. I'm sorry that not everybody who viewed this film enjoyed it, but I think that anyone who is reading this should check it out sometime. Even though we all have our own tastes, I think everyone should take a chance and see this film because it would be a shame if someone passed up the opportunity to view what would have been his or her new favorite movie.

Summary: How can you not like this movie?
Review: How can you not like this movie? This movie was not meant to be a serious drama or not even a hardcore action movie...it was meant to be fun! Once that is in your mind, you will thouroghly enjoy this movie that made history with its live action characters. If you were a little kid when this movie came out, you did not care about little things like the plot or the script. And for grown-ups, the movie awakened the little child in all of us and we found ourselves remembering the days of yesteryear, when we were watching Saturday morning cartoons, rooting for the good guys to kick the bad guys butts. The movie is good, so if you don't take this movie too seriously, you will enjoy it. The way the live action characters interact with their environment is really something. The turtles are a brilliant creation of Jim Henson, whose legacy still lives. If you are in the mood to just enjoy a simpler movie without all the expensive special effects, go watch this movie and forget about your troubles for about 90 minutes.

Summary: The second movie is better ! !
Review: Well, I watched this movie when it came out at the movie theaters when I was 5 years old and own the VHS taped. I still say this movie was slow and old. I didn't like the scenes in the movie nor the settings. The story was lame as well. First it deals with Raph losing one of his "Sai" weapons during a fight and April has one of the two he owns. Then he goes out and searches for it and blah, blah, they kidnap Splinter, blah, blah, the Foot Clan are a bunch of teenagers, blah, blah, fight the Sherdder end of movie. The second movie was way better and more into the 90's. The thrid movie just stunk !

Summary: For Pizza Fans Only
Review: Jim Henson's puppet workshop worked on this sleeper hit about four mutated turtles who eat pizza and have learned Marshall Arts from an intelligent rat. That's about all there is to this movie.

Summary: I'll never call Golf a dull game again.
Review: If you havent seen the movie, my title for this review is a line from the movie, not my feelings toward this movie.

I love the Turtles when I was a kid, I still do. This is also the movie that started my passion for movies staring guys in rubber suits (AKA the Godzilla series). When I was a kid, this was the greatest movie I've ever seen, simply because of my love for the Turtles. But when I watch it today, I notice all the things you don't notice when your 5, such as the bad acting. Check out Turtles II, it's way better.

Summary: Great movie for all ages
Review: This movie came out when I was an impressionable child... and what an impression it left me. Ever since the age of 12, I'd been a fan of anthropomorphics, that drive being sparked by this movie. This movie is intellegent, full of mood, mystery, kick-a** music, plot, and most importantly: fun. The two writers of the comic made sure that the feelings of the cold, dark, mysterious nature of the turtle's origins and bland, frank ways of the city were made apparent. That was something that was lost with the following films. They gave it up for political correctness and shredded away all the semi-mature content and humor, turning it into a pure kiddy-flick for all the parents that were blaming this film for roughhouse playing during recess. This film wasn't watered down in any way. And when you're 12, a good movie such as this can change your life. It did to mine, and I'm proud to be a TMNT:TM fan.

Summary: Turtles work just as well live as animated.
Review: Can you believe that a man in a incredibly weighted turtle suit could kick you in the head, if you dont you better watch this movie cause you'll be very surprised. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was more than just a cute flick for the kiddies and gamers. Not only did it introduce a new era of filmaking it proved that even mutated turtles have their rough days. It includes a brilliant cast of turtles (Raphael's performance was as worthy of an oscar as Tom Hanks in Apollo 13), also a great ensemble of teenage roughnecks, Casey Jones a sports equipment wielding physco, and a totally hot red haired reporter by the name of April O'Neal. So check it out.
