Summary: Good at first, then turns boring
Review: The Mask of Zorro began like a true action/adventure/comedy. There's plenty of good fight scenes, loads of laughs, and you're having a heck of a great time. Unfortunately, the last hour turns boring as the fight scenes all look the same and no more humor is injected into the movie. I did like the performances, mainly Anthony Hopkins, who knows how to dazzle a crowd.

Review: Antonio Banderas just portrayed the legendary Zorro amazingly. He is a classy actor who knew what he was doing and also very handsome. Anthony Hopkins had on of him best preformances I have seen him do. He and Banderes worked perfectly together. Cathrine Zeta-Jones is an amazing actress and this movie has brought her the boost she needs to move on to more things. The chorography was amazing and overall i loved it!!

Review: This movie is not your usual ZORRO. Antonio Banderas, with his accent, he is a perfect match for his role. Anthony Hopkins...I don't know what to say, he's incredible in everyway. Catherine Zeta-Jones...all that I can say is WOW! She is very beautiful and she has great personality. The music composer deserves some credits too. He has done a great job. I love this movie!

Summary: Very good and the fencing was much better than expected.
Review: I'd seen many Zorro films prior to this one and I must admit that my hopes were not high. The film industry often ruins sword fights in films by making them over elaborate and unrealistic.This film surprised me in this respect. Although some liberties had clearly been taken you could see proper fencing moves being executed. Plotwise the film is pretty standard - master trains pupil who subsequently defeats bad guy. However it's a good ride and well worth the money.

It's one of the best action movies I've ever seen, the fighting and stunt scenes are great, the actors couldn't been chosen better Banderas is definetly the best Zorro ever, I don't think other actor could have played the character as well as him, Anthony Hopkins is always great and Catherine Zeta Jones is beautiful.
