It is not just a kids movie, but every one can enjoy it. Goblins kidnap a fifteen year old girl's baby brother. She has to travel through the Goblin King's Labyrinth inorder to save him or else her brother will be turned into a goblin.

Summary: One of my all time favorite fantasy movies....
Review: I remember seeing this movie for the first time when I was 10and being completely mesmorized. All the characters stayed with me inmy dreams, and when a movie has the ability to do that, I know it's a good one. I remember wishing that I could escape my own reality and find myself in the labrynth. And in today's hectic world, I find myself still fantasizing about it... :)

Summary: Definately my all-time favorite movie
Review: A good fun movie that you can watch with your kids. I've beentrying to get it on video since my son was born in '96 and I cannotwait to share this movie with him. I think he is going to love it (espeically the f**ting swamp).

Summary: Wonderful fantasy for all ages!
Review: I loved this movie when I first saw it as a child! I've wantedto see it again for a long time. I'm overjoyed that it is beingrereleased. Another great Henson movie is the Dark Crystal also being released soon. Both are from the glory days of the Muppets and truely each is a masterpiece!

Summary: A classic movie!
Review: I was so ticked off when I checked into the Columbiahouse website recently and saw they had removed Labyrinth from their selections.... Needless to say I'm ecstatic to see it's being re-released! Yes it is a movie aimed at children, but so is Star Wars and most people (including me) refuse to admit that, so why should I admit it for Labyrinth? The cast deliver's wonderful (if a little corny occasionally) performances, David Bowie provides great music, regardless of the fact that he scares the crap out of me when he's on scene (You'll either understand when you see or you won't) and where else can you see George Lucas and Jim Henson team up?

Summary: The best movie of all time
Review: I grew up on this movie as a kid, when my video store said they didn't have that video anymore I knew I had to order it right away so my kids can watch it as well.

Summary: Pleasing but get the wide screen version
Review: A supposedly coming of age film set in a fantasy labryrinth lorded over by David Bowie. As much as I like the muppets (I do), all the puzzles and jokes are centuries old and will be found amuzing by children who have little interest in David Bowie. I'm sure the farting swamp kept many a parent away. The best part is the clever visual illusions that are mostly destroyed if you don't have a widescreen edition.

Summary: A fantastic movie.
Review: Definantaly a must see, one of the greatest movies that I have seen in my life. I'll never completely understand why it ever left distribution, it sold out the instant anyplace got a copy.

Summary: All I can say is, "David Bowie and the Muppets"!
Review: What else could you ask for: fantasy, muppets, and David Bowie 1986 version re-released!

An answer to this anachronistic girl's dreams!

Summary: Dark Lover Of My Dreams
Review: I love this movie. It is...perfect for a romantic, fantasy lover like me. David Bowie, as Jareth, touched my heart with his music, kissed my soul with his eyes, caressed my body with his...dark, romantic voice. The girl he fell for reminded me of myself: A gal who longed for eternal love and freedom. I...adore this movie. Sure, David Bowie looks like his teeth r rotten, but, his smile is still sexy.
