Summary: AWESOME !!!!!
Review: I think this movie was excellent because it had a lot of action, humor, and sensitivity. (...)in this movie is when Marcus sees the two rats humping each other. I also liked the part where Tapia's daughter says she chose pink because the lady at the store said that she looks like a model and then a guy laughs. But my favorite part in this movie was at the end when the dog broke the pool again and then when Mike and Marcus started singing the bad boys song. Very good movie. Anyone who hasn't seen this movie should go buy the DVD.

Summary: Funny.. but too long
Review: Narcotics offiers, Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Bennett (Martin Lawrence) head up a task force investigating the flow of ecstasy into Miami. Their search leads to a dangerous Cuban kingpin, Johnny Tapia, whose plan to control the city's drug traffic has touched off an underground war. Mike and Marcus's friendship and working relationship is threatened when Mike begins to develop feelings for Marcus' sister Syd (Gabrielle Union). Unless they can separate the personal from the professional, the bad boys are in danger of blowing the case and endangering Syd's life in the process. This movie was a little more than 2 and a half hours. There were so many scenes that were repeated and unnecessary. The first Bad Boys movie was enjoyable but this one was too "macho".

Summary: Possibly the worst movie ever made.
Review: I write this as a warning to unwary. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

Summary: Absolute CRAP
Review: This is the worst movie I have ever seen, no exaggeration, and I watch or rent most of the good action films. There is really nothing about Bad Boys II that is worth mentioning, but quite a bit to be disappointed with (and outright offended by) with such great expectations from the first enjoyable film.

This sequel to Bad Boys brought absolutely NONE of the character relationships or interaction over from the first movie. What this movie was, from the first scene onward, just two popular black actors making fools of themselves with some of the worst acting I have ever seen. There is not once scene in this movie that was even remotely believable, the plot is absolutely half-baked, and the language was about as enjoyable as a bee-sting. I actually lost count of the F-bombs, which were inserted completely at random, and if taken out of the script, would have likely left several dozen pages empty.

The rest of the script, filled with G.D., J.C., S__T, N_GG_R, and other "intelligent language" left me really wondering why these two prominent black actors signed on to this steaming pile of crap for a movie. There really, seriously, is NO script in this movie, and hence, no plot whatsoever. Some Russian mobster is trying to get his cash out of the country, while Miami PD and the DA are trying to stop the influx of Ecstasy. That might have been a fairly decent scenario if the writer and director (let alone the actors) had taken it seriously. But since Will and Martin did NOT take the plot or their acting seriously, it was just hard to appreciate the story, what little of it there is amidst all the sex, drug use, and foul language. I am very fond of Will and Martin, loved Bad Boys and Blue Streak, among others, but this was just a horrible, disgusting, offensive piece of filmmaking.

I wouldn't even call it a "popcorn thriller" because so much of the content is offensive. The attempt at humor is so literal that it completely misses the mark. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence had some amazing humorous chemistry in the original, and that writer/director didn't even TRY to bring that back into this sequel. I wasn't looking for car chases, explosions, or corpses getting run over on the freeway. What I was looking forward to was some great comedic acting by these two, and it just wasn't there. It's as if they decided to blow that all off and make a "serious" movie, but then halfway through, realized that humor is kind of a good idea, and tried hard to fill it in. Yuck. I just hated this movie, to be blunt.

I agree with another reviewer here: "How can one call this entertainment? Is entertainment watching people have their brains blown out in slow mo or watching people die four times over? If this is considered entertainment then America's culture is in deep trouble. Bad Boy II has an undeniably thin plot in order to justify horrific acts of brutal violence. Bad Boys II is not even a good action film, it is just mindless shooting and explosions."

I would add, Mr. Smith, YOUR filthy dialog and that of others in Bad Boys II makes up for your so-called stance in your music, many, many times over.

Summary: Sometimes you have to listen to critics
Review: Critic said "the worst film of the year". I really didn't believe that because I went see the first and it is OK. With movie technology improving these years, I thought how bad it gonna be? Well, if you got the same thought, better finish my review. "A lot blows and non-stop stupid jokes". That's what I heard from the critic during the interview of The Best Damn Sport Show. After I saw the movie, I realize there's no better way to describe this movie. I'm so glad that I didn't go to the movie theater and throw $12 away. To be honest, I do even want to see the second DVD which including deleted scenes and productions. A lot people mad about Matrix sequels, but if you want to see real good highway chasing, go to see Reloaded instead of Bad Boys. After 90 mins of torturing, I have to say that I should have listened to Roeper.

Summary: Average cop action flick
Review: This is just a vehicle for Smith and Lawrence, if you find them entertaining, you'll enjoy this flick, it's basically the standard cops and bad guys movie with tons of shooting, violence, and the beautiful co-star in trouble. My teen age son compelled me to watch this with him, and he's definitely the target audience. I didn't find it boring, although it certainly started to get slow in a few spots. Mostly predictable, lot's of one liners and swearing, this is definitely a one time rental movie in my opionion.

Thank you Michael Bay for making Americans even stupider, your work on Bad Boys II, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Pearl Harbor has contributed much to the American artistic culture LOL. America is truly in a sad state when a film like Bad Boy II grosses over 100 million dollars.

Summary: Get Ready to Hold On...Pure A.C.T.I.O.N.
Review: "Bad Boys II" is a two disc set packed with plenty of A.C.T.I.O.N. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return to portray their roles as the buddy undercover cop duo from Miami's Narcotics Division. With excellent on-screen chemistry Smith and Lawrence get tangled in a drug smuggling operation along with Gabrielle Union who plays Lawrence's sister and is an undercover DEA agent. Drugs and money are being smuggled between the U.S. and Cuba via caskets and corpses by a greasy hair thirty something Cuban national with a crazy mother and chubby daughter. In the process Smith and Lawrence must sneak into Cuba to rescue Union who is kidnapped. While in Cuba, they must face Castro's army who supply security for the Cuban drug lord. There are several great scenes such as the highway scene were Smith maneuvers a fabulous Porsche through a sea of cars flying off the back of a carrier, the interrogation of Lawrence's daughter's first date, a shootout in a house with a gang of Haitian men, and the fast pace drive through a Cuban shanty town in a bright yellow Hummer. This film will make this statement quotable..."we ride together we die together bad boys for life." I wouldn't recommend viewing by small children due to the violence, language and brief nudity.
