Summary: "The Fugitive" keeps you at the edge of your seat .
Review: The movie has an excellent cast (Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee Jones) with a nail biting experience right from start to finish. Of course not to forget the music , photography ,editing which gives a flair to the movie.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A solid adaptation of one of television's finest series.
Review: It's rare for me to pay any attention to the major studio films (not when independent/arthouse films actually provide innovative storytelling), but since I am fond of the classic TV series, I had to view this film. Impressive. Unlike most film versions of old TV series, The Fugitive was mindful of its roots, staying faithful to the characters David Janssen and Barry Morse created. Wisely, the writers contemporize the premise, since it is unlikely a man could hide from the authorities for four years in the Nineties (one computer check and it's back to the slammer). Harrison Ford is a good choice to play Richard Kimble; like David Janssen, Ford uses his facial expressions and body language to completely sell the character to the audience. Tommy Lee Jones' Gerard is just as obsessed as Barry Morse's Gerard, but he isn't so grim; he has a sense of humor (though I don't understand why the writers changed Gerard's name from Philip to Sam -- a minor quibble)! The chase scenes are tense and exhilerating, an anomaly in action films. Why can't Hollywood remake quality TV dramas like The Fugitive?

Summary: The World's Best Actor Improves his resume!!
Review: Why hasn't Harrison Ford won an oscar yet? This is his best performance to date as a man wrongly accused of killing his wife. The movie starts off huge with a fantastic train wreck, and never slows down a step. Tommy Lee Jones is also great as the pursuing detective. This movie deserves a place among the greatest films.

Summary: How does Harrison Ford do it?
Review: Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the Star Wars trilogy: all starring Harrison Ford, all brilliant, and now the Fugitive. This is the best thriller EVER! Brilliant train wreck sequence that can't be beaten (they tried with US Marshalls but plane crashes have been done too many times). I don't know how many times I have seen this movie (at least a dozen), but I never get tired of it.

Summary: The best movie of all time
Review: The Fugitive is the ebst work of everyone on-screen. This was the high point for everyone. It made the world stand up and take notice of a character actor named Tommy Lee Jones who had been toiling in silence. It established Harrison Ford as the greatest actor to ever live. Director Andrew Davis didn't feel like topping himslef, though, sicne he went on to make the putrid Chain Reaction and god-awful A Perfect Murder. But, to get back to praising this movie, it is the best movie ever made and I have seen almost 800 in my time. Everyone should see this movie at least twice. It has something for everyone but should not be watched by those under 10 because it very realistically captures the pain of death in the exquisitely edited flashback scenes. This movie delivers! The train sequence still has not been topped by these $100millin flicks.

Summary: GREAT!!!!
Review: This movie is great. Harrison Ford is excellent, as is Tommy Lee Jones. The whole movie is non-stop heart pounding action from beginning to end. If you like Harrison Ford, and/or Tommy Lee Jones, buy this movie. You will want to see it again and again.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Incredibly brilliant!
Review: The Fugitive is Harrison Ford's best work of the 90's. It is a magnificent film. Ford as Richard Kimble must stay ahead of Lt. Gerard, played by Tommy Lee Jones. As a suspense/thriller/action movie, The Fugitive delivers. It intelligently keeps Kimble barely out of the law's reach, culminating in breathtaking escape scenes. Then there is the bus-train-wreck that is one of the best film accidents ever. This a movie that well deserves its reputation. See it and you won't be disappointed

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Fugitive I'd give it 10 stars
Review: I think this is one of Harrison Fords best movies he has ever made. It is surely one of my favorites. If you haven't seen this movie and if you already have seen it, you're love it just the same. This a sure best hit that will stay a hit for a long time.
