Summary: Perfect Movie!
Review: Seing as two of my great loves are Seth Green and Mini Coopers, this movie was perfect! Seth has a hilarious role of the computer genius (the Napster) and my only dissapointment was that he didn't get to be in a Mini Cooper. <br />Other than that, It was just a wonderful movie.

Summary: The Italian Job
Review: What a terrific movie! "The Italian Job" was one of the best movies of the summer of 2003. There has not been a re-make like this one in years! This film is blessed with a brilliant script, solid cast of skilled actors (Seth Green was hilarious), breathtaking scenery and fabulous, realistic stunts. The pace is perfect - it moves slow enough to keep you following the story, but fast enough to make it interesting. The story is crafted in a way to make it completely believable, but still leaves you scratching your head thinking "How is that POSSIBLE?" To anyone looking for a nice change from the mundane, often brainless movies released, "The Italian Job" will get the job done.

Summary: The Italian Job
Review: ITJ is a bit a dissapointment because it makes itself a film of two-halves and doesnt really engage the viewer after Donald Sutherland departs the journey ealry on.

In short this is just simple Sunday afternoon entertainment and even the horribly mis-cast Ed Norton does not make an impact. The premise is simple. Robbers get robbed by one of their own and then go seek their revenged. Cue a few chase sequences and some personal family matters. It doesnt really ever get off the ground. Very average robbery hookum.

Summary: Action Packed!
Review: I loved this movie! Good plot, cool actors, awesome car-chase scenes. Lots of suspense and twists and turns in the movie keep you wondering what will happen next. Not much cussing in the movie either, so that's a definite plus.

Summary: Decent Flick
Review: While this is not even close to being one of my favorite movies it was decent. I was a little skeptical of it because it seemed like it was going to be just another remake of tired themes. However I was surprised. The action and chase scenes are well done. The characters are realistic and well developed and the special effects are adequate. Overall this is a fairly well done film.

Summary: A Terrible Film
Review: This film, directed by some hack who directed MTV videos is a complete waste of time. The small story to tell, which is obscurred by MTV style action sequences and product placements, is entirely absurd. The actors are terrible and it was very boring. I expected at least to be entertained by anyone wanting a decent film, get "Bullit" with McQueen because it was better than this.....

Summary: The good and the bad...
Review: First let's start on a positive note:

1. The chick kicks butt and is fully dressed! That is always nice to see in a movie, a woman with a strong character who actually wers clothes that cover more than just the bare necessities.

2. Seth Green makes a great geek. He was born to be a geek.

3. It will make you laugh, or at least utter a chuckle from time to time.

4. The movie has great action scenes and the plot is interesting.

Now on to the negatives:

1. Not all of the cast members' acting was up to par (*cough* Wahlberg *cough*). He is nice to look at but good acting that does not make.

2. There are dry moments. When the action slows down it may be hard at certain moments to keep you eyes open. Good if you are on a date or need to go to the bathroom.

3. Although the plot is interesting, there are no underlying philosophical or higher brain function twists. The plot is straight forward, the good guys win (as always). It is interesting to see how they win...

If you are looking for a movie to sit around, relax, and shut your brain off while watching pretty pictures and interesting action then this is the movie for you. I bought the DVD just for that reason... a long day, put my feet in a foot massage bath thingie, shut off all cognitive actions in my brain, and stare at the TV with drool on the side of my mouth.
