Review: I loved " The Scarlet Pimpernel " as it is a wholesome movie with Romance, humor, intrigue, suspense, honor and people having compassion for others like those in the League. I thought all of the acters and actresses were wonderful especially the romantic couple Anthiony Andrews as Percy, so handsome and versitile in his acting and Jane Seymour as Marguerite, so beautiful and talented. I have almost worn my tape out watching it so much. It's a movie your family will love.

Review: I am reading the Scarlet Pimpernel right now, and even though the story line differs a bit from the movie, all I imagine as I read are Anthony Andrews and Jane Seymour. There are no movies that improve on an original classic, but this video nearly does it! Will be a favorite for years to come.

Review: Sink me! The Scarlet Pimpernel is a wonderful movie about the French Revolution during the Reign of Terror. It has a wonderful storyline, and I liked the way the actors portrayed their characters. It was a job well done by Anthony Andrews and Jane Seymour, the leading actors. It is romantic, historical, and very exciting. It is also very humorous at times. The Scarlet Pimpernel is a wonderful movie for the family and it brings the book to life in an interesting way. This movie will soon become one of your favorites.

Review: OK, first I read The Scarlet Pimpernel and I wasn't really into it. Then I watched this movie and I totally fell in love with it. It is awesome. Anthony Andrews did the absolute best that I think any person could do to portray Sir Percy. I mean this man lived and breathed like the character. If I didn't know better, I would have said that he was indeed Sir Percy. And the guys are now saying "chick flick", right? It's not. My friend's 12 year old brother wached it and he too loved it. I've watched it so much that if I watch it again, I can't help but say the lines along with the actors. Truthfully, it is THAT good.

My sister and I have watched it so many times that we know it word for word. Anthony Andrews is great!!! This movie has made me a huge fan of his. Review: I have read the novel by Baroness Orczy and enjoyed it immensly. The movie, starring Anthony Andrews, is a wonderful adaptation, however, follows its namesake very little. If you want a movie representing the novel, this is not your best choice. But I fully recommend watching it for the sheer brilliance of the actors, and of course, the costumes! Anthony Andrews breathes even more life into the heroic, and somewhat inane, Sir Percy. A wonderful movie.

Review: Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A magnnificent love story passionatly portrayed by Andrews and Seymour, set amid the turbulent French Revolution. Heck, it was almost as good as the book!!!! (those Brits sure talk funny, though...)

Review: As a young lady I can't help but fall in love with movies like THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL--but my brother loves it, too! It is truly exquisite, and I could (and have) watched it again and again! Don't believe me? Rent it and then you'll know! It is wonderfully romantic in a PG sort of way, so families can enjoy it without worry. I must warn that Sir Percy often uses very mild expletives common to his society, but as a discriminating conservative young person with a solid background I found it able to be overlooked. Are you looking for a good movie for everyone? Oddsfish, my dear, you're looking at it!
