Summary: Scotland the Brave
Review: This is the best film I have ever seen. Okay, I might be a bit biased being an exiled Scot from Edinburgh myself. However, historical inaccuracies aside, this film is a masterpiece. It is truly moving and inspiring. The end, just before Wallace dies, brings a lump to my throat every time. Some people seem to think this is a slightly racist film, because of the anti-english theme, but hey, those sassenach bastards started it, not us!!

Summary: Best Guy Movie of all time!
Review: Truly one of Mel Gibson's best movies. Choriography of battle scenes are superb and without a doubt one of the top ten best guy movies of all time ranked up with Star Wars. This movie is not for those weak stomachs, but the violance in this movie is not senseless. I rank this an 11 out of 10!

Summary: Awesome experience. Braveheart touches forgotten emotions.
Review: Braveheart is easily at the top of my all time favorite movies. To say I was awe struck by the wide array of emotions I felt is an understatement. I believe it captured the true essence of life, living and warfare in medieval times. The battle scenes are perhaps more graphic than necessary. This is the only negative comment I have heard from anyone else who has seen it. This movie is clearly a LOVE STORY about a man who spends his early days in search of peace. When his one true love is cruelly killed, his passion for his lost Maran is replaced by an equal passion for the freedom of his country.

I've never believed in reincarnation, but this movie touched something in me that I haven't felt before. It was as though I was there. Not on the set or grandstands watching the filming. I was in Scotland in the 1200's. I connected with Braveheart like no other movie ever before or since.

Mr. Mel Gibson is to be commended for putting together such a masterpiece. This is clearly the best of the best. I hope there is never a sequel as it could never equal much less surpass Braveheart.

Summary: Bizarre. Blue Velvet in Kilts
Review: This is one of the most bizarre and disturbing films I have ever seen. A fairly predictable little story about a specific fight for freedom is turned by Mel Gibson into a picture of twisted masculine desire that makes Blue Velvet look like Barney's Picnic Adventure. Watch this movie, and think about what Freud would have made of all those men sticking REALLY BIG SWORDS into each other. It is not a pretty picture.

Summary: GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE
Review: Braveheart is definitely the greatest movie known to man. Its a story of a simple man who wanted nothing more than freedom. That man is Sir William Wallace. I am very thankful for Braveheart. If it wasnt for Braveheart I would never have heard of this great scotsman. Mel Gibson did a wonderful job of portraying the life of Wallace. If you never heard of William Wallace I strongly urge you to watch this passionate, emotional, courageous, and inspiring story. Thank you Mel Gibson and Randall Wallace for giving us the oportunity to enjoy this film.

Summary: Great !
Review: This movie is one of the best movies ever made. It had romance, action and suspence and Braveheart is an excellent film but it created a false image of William Wallace. Wallace was a 6'9" character that looked like Amish more than Gibson. He was a bigger disgrace to Scotland more than a hero at that time.

Summary: An action packed thriller and heart breaker
Review: This is a great movie this is one of the few movies that tell it how it is how often does the hero die. I loved Mel Gibson in this he really put enough feeling in this to make some one cry. The lines were superbly spoken (Escpecially William Wallace& Robert the Bruce). The battles and the gore of this movie may be overwhelming but I suggest you see it any way. I'm not much a fan of love stories but I must say this is the best I've seen. This has been my favorite movie since it first came out I even like the previews more than some movies. I and all my friends suggest you see it

Summary: This movie was cool and long and bloody.
Review: This was the coolest movie that I ever saw, the killing was plentiful and cool, the emotion was powerful and compelling and the acting was cool cause mel gibson is cool. In this story, William wallace as a young boy was spontaineously thrust into a world of death as his family and friends were hung and his father was later killed at battle. He then grew up to be a simple farmer untill his wife was murdered. He then took revenge by killing the man who did this and later leading the scots to many bloody battles for freedom with the help of the queen and her accomplis. He later turned himself in and had his guts ripped out and his head ripped off but despite the body count, many lived to fight a last battle against the English. The only thing I hated about this movie, is that the Prince of England was the biggest wussy in the world.
