Review: The serie has the following movies only:Dr. No (Special Edition)Goldfinger (Special Edition) The Man with the Golden Gun (Special Edition) The Spy Who Loved Me (Special Edition) License to Kill (Special Edition) GoldenEye (Special Edition) Tomorrow Never Dies (Special Edition) The other movies are not included in the collection; like From Russia with Love and Diamond are forever. Originally, the 007 movies were supposed to be seen in sequence; this serie violate what was planned with the whole James Bond movies. I wouldn't recommend spending[$$$], on such a marketting gimmick to milk the series for dollars.

Review: If only I had of known!!
When I went to the local [store] and found out that there was a moratorium on James Bond DVD's, I still allowed my lust for Bond movies to consume me and went about purchasing select Bond movies at $... a pop. Now comes this box set release with some choice entries at an affordable price with the added bonus of no Timothy Dalton entries and I already own half of them. The only thing I can hope for, is that another box set is released with mostly Roger Moore Bond movies. About time another Bond DVD series is released, too bad it is happening now instead of back in July. I guess they had to make the box set availabe in time to whet everyone's appetite for the upcoming theatrical "Die Another Day".

Summary: Great Bond collection
Review: Weather you are a Bond fan or simply love spy/adventure flicks this collection is for you. Some of the better bond movies are included in this set - Goldfinger just to mention one of them, which I think is one of the best Bond films ever. Set is priced very nicely too. For [a moderate amount], you are getting hours of entertainment any time you want (man that sounds like a sales pitch). Can't ask for more then that. A very nice addition to any DVD collection

Review: Whether you are a die-hard bond fan or a casual spy-thriller viewer this is worth owning. Most films are classics or at least worth seeing. Each DVD is packed with interesting trailers, radio spots and documentaries. I shall address each film in the order that it is presented in. The first in this collection and also in the series is DR. No. By today's standards it is quite a tame movie. No matter what some say this is a sterling example of a movie that the modern Bond producers should look to instead of the garbage they make now. Featuring exotic locations, amazing cars, beautiful women, and all the trappings of a millionaire on government salary, this movie sets the pattern for the whole series. From the moment you hear Connery say those famous lines "Bond, James Bond" you know that this is not only a movie, but the beginning of something big. For better or worse each successive Bond movie gets bigger than the preceding. In the case of Goldfinger, it is better. This is Sean Connery's third run as 007 and by far the best Bond movie ever made. The formula had been established by two previous movies and now was time to break the mold. For good measure more women; more wit, more villainy was added. But what everyone will remember this one for is the Aston Martin he made famous. This is the one where everything worked out right. The idea was bigger is better and it was. This was not so in the case of The Man with the Golden Gun, though it was bigger it was not better. This is not near as good as Live and Let Die it predecessor, not even one of the best Bond movies it lost all credibility in the end. This movie though not a great Bond flick, is worth seeing. Just remember that though some of it is great, there are too many bad ideas to be good. I recommend watching this movie with a liberal use of fast forward. Next comes The Spy Who Loved Me. In some ways more campy than it's predecessors it was done right this time. An outrageous scheme and an equally outrageous car are the highlights of this movie. Note that this is one of the least likely plots and cars to happen as well. This is an all in all good movie that offers amazing stunts and wonderful scenery as well as good humor. Don't take this as seriously as other Cold War bond flicks but enjoy it in good humor. After Moore the producers of Bond wanted a more serious acter similar to Sena Connery. Timothy Dalton is one of the most underrated Bonds ever. In License to Kill he brings more depth into the character without turning the character into a sentimental idiot. It is a rough edged movie that grows on you. After watching the Moore era Bond movies this is a refreshing foray into toned down minimalism, without loosing any suave coolness or amazing stunts or most important excessive oppulence. Dalton pulls off 007 closer to the Ian Fleming character better than anybody except the early Connery. The newest James Bond graces the collection in Tomorrow Never Dies. This movie would have been a great bond movie except for a lack of plot, acting and credibility. The stunts and action scenes are top drawer but the plot is the worst since Moonraker. This one is worth having only for collector's value. The final movie in the collection is Brosnan's first Bond movie: Goldeneye. I was skeptical of the man and thought of how bad 'Remington Steele' would be as 007. This movie surprised me in every aspect. Everything was good in this one and represents the best example of a post Cold War Bond. Pierce Brosnan and the director and producers managed to make this one work despite the horrible nature of its two sequels. Despite one bad apple and a slightly sour apple this collection is worth owning.

Review: The Movie are all time greats no doubt about that but the condition of the box itself was horrid. Looked like it had been removed from the wreckage of a 007 car chase.

Summary: A must own DVD collection
Review: I finally broke down to purchase all three volumes for a complete James Bond set on DVD. Finding all of the sets online brand new was very difficult. The price was one of the best here for total shipped price.One word, "WOW". The packaging was very nice. The special editions of each 007 movies are loaded with impressive extras. After viewing the actual movies, I found the video excellent and the sound quality a huge upgrade from my Bond VHS versions. It was like watching them for the first time on DVD. In my opinion, these sets are classics for any DVD collection. I did not regret my purchase.

Summary: Best of the 3 Sets
Review: These DVD sets (1, 2 & 3) are an absolute MUST have! It's next to impossible to get some of these movies unless you get the sets. I already owned some of the movies, but I just sold the copies I already had on Ebay.
Each DVD's special features are very informative and almost as much fun as watching the movie. It's a blast to see all the behind the scenes stuff.
A must have collection!
