Rating: Summary: Is this some kind of a joke....? Review: If there is some sanity in grouping a B/Robot Movie with Science Fiction's Greatest Masterpiece into a two set DVD gift case, I fail to see the point of it, except Warners must really be cheap in the DVD business to do it (Heck they can barely give Looney Tunes a decent release on DVD either). Okay, to put it mildly, Rise of the Machines was little more then a cheap Roger Corman picture (just given a larger budget by the studio). It was a movie series they stole from James Cameron by paying a bunch of large coperate Lawyers to do so, Heck MGM (now a part of Sony) should go to court and demand they give 2001 and 2010 back to them ( as both movies were originally made at MGM). I guess those rumors of Roger Corman opening up a new production office on the Warners lot were true.
