Agent Cody Banks 2 - Destination London

Summary: The rarest thing, a sequel better than the original
Review: Let me be up front with this, I did not like the first "Agent Cody Banks" movie. To me, the flatulence humor made it unfit for children, and other than that it was a one-note production, the running gag of the Marvel Entertiainment bashing got real old, real fast.

But while this movie does conti8nue the flatulence humor, it soft pedals (not elminates) the Marvel bashing, and gives us better production values, a more complex story, more developed characters, and a show stopper of a musical number (ironic, as it provides the soundtrack for the climatic action sequence).

Anthony Anderson and Hannah Spearrit make this show, and I personally would be more interested in a Anthony Anderson spinoff than a "Agent Cody Banks 3" (if they are making a third one).

Again, I'm not sure this is appropriate for pre-teens, but teens and adults are in for a good time.

Review: much better and original than the 1st. i didnt care for the 1st that much but this one was great. full of laughs and action not only will children find this entertaining.........but so will adults. great acting great plot great movie !!!!!!!!

Summary: Funnier than the first
Review: My family (that's 10 people whose ages range from 4-40) watched this movie all together and everyone loved it. Agent Cody Banks 2 is hilarious. Cody is put undercover as a music student in London to stop a former teacher of his from using mind control to conquer the world. The action parts were really neat and although the story line itself was a little corny it was still very enjoyable.

Review: This movie is incredible. Believable plot, excellent character development, and acting that is so good it is almost scary. There were points in the film that I actually wanted to believe that Cody was real and perhaps he really was saving the world. Would recommend this film to anybody over the age of 13 who has a brain and enjoys a good dramatic adult thriller.

Summary: Agent Banks brings action & laughs to the UK
Review: When I saw this movie I wasn't expecting it to be as entertaining as the original. However, this movie has a solid plot for a youth spy caper and is a bit funnier than the original. Frankie Muniz is likable as the serendipitous child CIA agent, who begins the film at CIA summer camp. After the camp director turns out to be a rogue agent who has stolen mind control technology Cody is sent to London to help catch the rogue agent and stop the devious plans that have been made to use the mind control technology to gain control of world leaders. Seeing dignitaries (including the Queen of England character) dancing to the tune of "War...what is it Good For?" at a "G7" event is amusing, and Cody's CIA "handler" posing as a bumbling chef specializing in Southern cuisine is also suited to this type of movie. I'm still trying to figure out when Cody's parents will discover he is really a spy - I guess that humorous plot device can be recycled in Cody Banks 3. Well, anyway, this is a fun, fast-paced movie that can entertain children and adults.
