Summary: The Best Out
Review: Macromedia Studio MX is the greatest tool for building websites out. Every other program pales in comparison. I am a novice website designer but Macromedia has enabled me to elevate my novice skills to unprecedented levels, with its intuiative and helpful bag o' tools. The tutorials that Macromedia provides are the most helpful software tutorials that I ever used I was able build a cartoon within 1 hr of installation. If you are serious about web design this is the only tool to use, it is the present and will defiently be the tool of the future.

Summary: A Great Value for your money
Review: Ok first thing I want to say, I do not work for Macromedia, and my only motivation in writing this, is to help you. This is THE best suite to design, code, and publish a very cool, engaging website. I do not know of any other software package that comes close. In my opinion Adobe tried and failed, (plus it costs a ton), Bill Gates crew is not even in the same game. The only challenge is the learning curve you will encounter, if you are not familiar with Macromedia's products. Now this may be a little presumptuous on my part, but I would go so far as to say if you are not using Dreamweaver and flash, you are not in the web development game seriously. I would guess that some of your efforts might have ended up on "Webpage's that [stink]" website. This is a tremendous value and you could make a career out of mastering anyone of the applications included in Macromedia Studio.

Review: Wanna make a website?? DreamweaverMX makes it mindless!
Wanna make a Flash movie?? FlashMX will do it up for ya!
Wanna doodle? FreeHand 10 will let ya doodle till ya pass out!
Wanna edit and make photo's for your site? FireworksMX rocks!
Not a very helpful review? I know..deal with it, if you are looking to make a website, just buy it!! Or if you make sites already, you most likely know what this softwear suite can do, so why am I telling you! Try it out, you don't have to be a nerd in thick glasses to run it(although it does help) You don't need an extensive knowledge of HTML either..Dreamweaver writes the code behind the scenes for you!

Summary: From A Beginner!
Review: Years ago I was really good at HTML, a few months ago I began designing 2 sites for friends w/FrontPage because it was loaded on my computer. I soon got tied of it's limitations. Anytime I see something really cool on a web - I found that Macromedia was behind it!! So I made the jump. Is it as easy & brainless as Frontpage - No! Regardless, this suite exceeded my expectations! I went though all the included tutorials on all the products in 2 weeks & wow!!!! I can't believe the improvements I've already made to my sites. What's great about these programs is that you can learn enough quickly - to get you started but continue to learn and develop your skills for years to come. It's a serious investment for an individual but one that I highly recommend.

Summary: I switched from the other one
Review: Yep there comes a time in one's life when they just have to give up on tools that are more trouble than doing it by hand. Yep I tried the other one to find that you had to by 'Publisher just to get it to the site. Then you find that they site has to be dedicated enough to have half the cone on it just to support what you cave composed. Well enough is enough.
Now this here Studio MX animal is great. Moet of the functions are contained in the product its self and very little support is needed by the web site provider. With the split screen you can get closer to the code. I wish there were more beginning templates but there is sufficient quantity to get you off the ground. The transfer of information from and to different sites is amazingly simple. I will not go into the details of all the marvelous cross-product integration and leading design tools just to say that if you can think about it, it is here.

Summary: Not much progress
Review: Yes, DW is a fine tool... At this point Macromedia is ...not [giving] us much new for all this money.

...they have given us much less in terms of the dockable tabs we have gotten used to. No dockable tabs... instead, some very inflexible show-hide widgets. ... Your page looks fine until you put your positioning and other styles into an externally linked file. Then the whole page becomes a jumble.

This is a fine tool but it is not keeping up with the times... Note that every place you see dots (ellipsis) in this review, it means useful information was deleted by Amazon editors...
