Rating: Summary: Perfect. Review: I have often relied on HP for quality in computers, and it is no surprise that I have had to rely on them comfortably here. Their CD-Rs are among the best so far (like Verbatim) and I have had the least errors with HP discs compared to other brands. Since cutting my first audio CD six months ago (using a Brahms symphony as a demo) I have had no problems with the recorded disc as it plays well, and I have made a good choice so far. Overall, I can only say that I have struck gold in using this type of CD-R.
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your time Review: I've had the "metal foil" come right off the disc with this media. Stick with TDK or Imation. Do not waste your money, or put your faith in HP Media. Their burners are great. Their media is junk.
Rating: Summary: The best quality storage media Review: On the contrary to the review "Don't waste your time," HP's CD-R/RW's are the highest quality out there. According to HP's website, HP makes the best CD-R/RW's in the industry (at least so far). Their CD-R/RW's has the longest data retention, are less likely to error, and are much more durable than bargain brand discs. There is a reason for their expensive price tags. If your data is extremely valuable (such as for important backups) go with HP CD-R/RW's.
