Summary: quality control is the key
Review: Unlike a lot of brands of CD-R media -- like Memorex -- Fuji manufactures its own discs, so you will always be getting the same quality discs every time you buy a spindle. With other brands -- including off-brands and store brands -- two spindles on the shelf might be from different plants or manufacturers. One spindle might work great, but that's no predictor of the next one.I've been through 4 spindles of the Fuji CD-Rs without a problem on my HP 8x IDE burner. The overall durability has been good, too. Telling the difference between CD-R brands can be difficult, but consistency can help make a choice.
