Rating: Summary: Glitch Free discs, and they work in my car Review: The odd thing about CD-R's is that certain manufacturers work in come players, but not in others. When a tech friend first mentioned that to me, I didn't believe it. So here's how it works. I have a regular Kenwood CD player (this does not apply to newer players who are CD-R-RW capable) My Kenwood will accept Memorex CD-R discs without any glitches. Sony's on the other hand don't work. My brother also has a Kenwood CD in his car, and oddly enough the Memorex don't work in his car, but the Sony's do. So even within the same manufacturer, not even the same discs work. So if you have an older player, that is designed to play regular CD's find your manufacturer that works with your player, and load up on them. For me the Memorex works great. Another interesting thing is that my older CDRW drive had a max speed of 6X. Unless I set it to record at only 2X, it would have skips. The new technology is great. I bought a Lite On CDRW which is a 52x32x52x, and it records a full speed without a single skip. So buying discs that run at 52x is a dream. I record a whole album in such a little bit of time, I can't believe it. I never have a skip or any kind of problem with these Memorex discs, and the price here at Amazon is great. So I highly recommend them.
Rating: Summary: GrEaT CD's Review: These are great Cd's to burn for everyday use.I have tried Philips,Verbatim,Sony,TDK,and Memorex.I like Memorex the most because they give you great products with great prices.Although,I have experienced a few CD's starting to get yellow on the surface. But that happened because I just left them on my table for too long. All in all, these are great CD's for great prices.I burn Cd's 7-8 times a week and there are fine.
Rating: Summary: Good quality Review: These are great quality recordable CD's. Inside the spindle, Memorex packages it so that there will be minimal bouncing around during shipping. They do this with tiny plastic rings. Though seeming like a miniscule detail, I've had experiences with spindles that don't come packaged this way, and it is a disaster. But, most importantly the CD's burn well, and I haven't had a problem thus far. The max speed of 48x is more than enough unless you are among the select few that own 52x burners.Good luck!
Rating: Summary: Quality CD-R's At A Good Price Review: These blank Memorex cd-r's have always worked well for me. If you ever have problems burning with these then it is most likely because of a problem with your cd burner or software. Memorex cd-r's are a reliable and low cost way to burn your downloaded music and files.
Rating: Summary: best cd-r's Review: These cd-r's have been the best I have ever used. No matter if I am burning video, audio or storing any other kind of data, I have never had a problem with these. Imation, Sony and Maxell all have given by errors before, so I stick with Memorex. I have probably purchased more than 10 of these 50-packs in the last year alone.
Rating: Summary: Good, But a Word of Warning... Review: These CD-Rs will work with most systems. 95% of mine recorded just fine. The only problem I had was that over time, the white coating on the CD has started to peel off. This hasn't happened to all my discs, but a few of them have started to chip, causing problems with the playback.
In general, these are pretty good budget price CDs for everyday use. But if you're looking for something to save your songs or data for a long period of time, choose something else.
Rating: Summary: Memorex - No !!!! Review: They're FAULTY and that's the word. I've tried to burn stuff on various PCs and laptops thinking MEMOREX can't go wrong but none of the places I was successful in burning even one CD - so the CDs are having a big big problem...
Rating: Summary: Half Don't Record Review: Unfortunately, I purchased "two" spindles of 50 Memorex Music 80 minute CD-R and about every other disc had to be thrown away as it would start burning my music, then just get hung-up and stop. To get the disc ejected, I would have to close down the Real Player completely and on a few occasions, shut-down my computer and re-start it. Although my computer is newer, I had put a cleaning disc in it, thinking that maybe there was some lint, but that didn't help. Thinking "I" was doing something wrong, I started talking to other people about my problem and found-out that they have had the same problems. I'm not wasting anymore money buying and throwing away Memorex discs.
Rating: Summary: bad cds Review: was unable to record on these cds, must be defects.
