Rating: Summary: Slow burn? Review: According to the verbatim web site, these are rated to burn at 16x -- not the common 48x. Sometimes you have to move slow to be cool.

Rating: Summary: Very Good Vendor Review: Great transaction. Very fast shipping and product just as described.
Rating: Summary: beware! not audio cd-rs... Review: I am sure these are great CD-Rs BUT...they are not Audio CD-Rs...so they will not work in many consumer CD burners...computers yes but all-in-one units no. I wanted to warn you since they look like LPs you might assume they are Audio.
Rating: Summary: Too Cool & Top Quality! Review: I buy NOTHING but Verbatim for photo or music burning. These are the ones I buy for music, because they are so cool looking, and remind me of the old 45's. My RCA mini-stereo system can't play them, but it has trouble playing any CD-Rs. They play great on my Panasonic SL-SV570 portable CD player. They only record at 24x on my 52x Iomega external burner, but that's okay...I'll put up with a slower burn speed for these cool looking CD-Rs. And no one makes higher quality CD-Rs than Verbatim.

Rating: Summary: Great for Audio! Review: I don't know what that fella was talking about that "this product doesn't work for audio"... this product works GREAT for audio. I burn these vinyl looking CDRs and play them in my cd walkman, in my van, in my home dvd player, and in my computer; and they play everywhere just fine. In fact, of the about 50 of these I have made so far, I have yet to make a coaster. Also check out the labels and the blue labeler thingy that Verbatim make, very cool.

Rating: Summary: Nice looking but unreliable Review: I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that these were incredibly marked down at the local Best Buy. I like the look of these CD-Rs but they have been unreliable and unpredictable in terms of device playback. For instance, they play fine in my brand new car stereo, and on my firewire external CDRW drive at home, but have difficulty playing back in my Powerbook internal drive (most likely due to the thickness of the painted surface, which is more a fault of the drive than the discs) and completely do not play in my home CD player (which is a stand-alone component disc changer). In other players, playback has ranged from nonexistent (as already noted), to spotty at best (crackles and lots of extra digital noise) to crystal clear.I would only recommend using these if you can verify and guarantee playback on your most-used personal systems... otherwise you'll end up with a stack of nice looking but unlistenable CDs.
Rating: Summary: verbatim retro vinyl cd-r...great! Review: My brother had a vintage 1940's wedding last weekend & gave these CD-Rs (with the couple's swing dancing songs recorded onto them) as wedding favors. What a hit! These are the best thing to hit the market since computer CD burning software! They have to be recorded on a computer but, other than that, they are every bit as good as all the other CD-Rs. Buy a bunch and burn all that "old 45-rpm" music you have lying around! Too cool!
