Rating: Summary: Not So Complete! Review: Eight months ago I purchased this software. I had initial problems with installation. It took several attempts to install. The program has no created or suggested lists of words (profanity, etc.)that signals the detection. Instead, yuou must create your own lists. Customer service told me that the lists were removed because people were offended by the words in them. This program also will not work if you are using XP's user accounts. If your child has been given a limited account QuietEye will not function on these accounts. Instead it notifies me that I am being watched! Customer service told me over 6 months ago that they were aware of the problem and an upgrade would be available in a few months. If I couldn't wait, they suggested that I seek a refund. Right! Still waiting! I agree with another reviewer who feels that this is more of a beta version. I suggest you look at other products.
Rating: Summary: QuietEye - Very Easy to Understand Review: I find this product very good and easy to use. I had another product before that blocked web sites and it slowed down my computer very much. This program is like its not there. It hides. And spies. So I know what is going on my computer when I am away. Gracias.
Rating: Summary: This saved my child's life Review: I've used this program for over a year. It works great! It remains hidden in the background and when called up by the proper keystrokes (alt-shft-q) becomes visable. It captures screenshots at predetermined time intervals or when keywords are typed. The keywords can be anything you choose such as profanity, drug terminology or anything else. You can view the snapshots and get kids passwords to view their email from another location. It groups the snapshots into "sessions". A session is the time between you logon to the computer and logoff. If you never log off you will have hundreds of pages of snapshoots to view. It works fine with Windows XP, but you have to disable the feature that allows multiple users to be logged in at the same time. The only problem I have is it has selection to delete multiple screen snapshots. That function has never worked for me, I must delete each snapshot "group" individually. It also has a feature that will pop up to alert the user when a keyword has been typed. It can also be set to show that it is activly monitoring the system. I don't think this will work as our kids are getting pretty savy and would figure out how to disable the program. I think it works best when hidden so we can watch what they are doing and where they are going. If your a parent that wants to know what your children are doing on the internet or with the computer, this is the program for you.

Rating: Summary: Very useful tool for my teenagers Review: Living in the city, my two teenage daughters are exposed to everything and everyone. Using this program has allowed me to "double check" on them and what they tell me is going on in their lives. If something happened to them by an online predator or anything else, this allows me to go instantly to what "I see" as invaluable information. Safe than sorry I guess. I did have to use some support, but it was prompt and I was up and running. If anyone is looking for a useful program at a good price, I can recommend this.

Rating: Summary: It's aight ! Review: Quiet eye is an alright spy for your PC, better than any other PC spyers that I've seen and tried!
Rating: Summary: QuietEye 2.4 Review: QuietEye is an excellent computer monitoring program for parents who want to see what their children see on the Internet and what type of email and chat dialogue they are sending and receiving. It operates exactly as it claims to. It is simple to install and easy to use, even for the novice. It runs completely unseen, and the file, if you can find it in your programs list, does not give any clue as to what type of software it is. Therefore, your teens will never suspect they're being monitored. The reporting pages and snapshots are clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Protecting you youth and monitoring there internet usage Review: software was an exceptional value and a wonderful tool. We were able to keep an eye on our computer savvy teens while they surfed the net. It was easy to setup, and to understand. Invisible to the users of the computer equipment and gave us multiple opportunities to set different ways to capture the information we needed. We found that the parental controls with in our internet access did not provide the protection and monitoring for the instances of Instant Messages or if the youth created an additional e-mail account from a free e-mail provider. This software allowed us to track instant messages between ...[an individual]and our child. The information from the screen shots as well as the key stroke report provided the authorities the information and documentation to capture and convict this individual. Only problem we had was that once you viewed the reports and screen shots, the directions said that you could hide the software access point but we found when we closed the setup screen the application shutdown and we had to reboot to reactivate the application. Online help was helpful but at times, written for those more computer savvy then we are.
Rating: Summary: Low Grade Shareware Review: The interface and functions of this program appear and behave like a clunky beta version of lowgrade shareware. The program shell doesn't size correctly to the desktop, ironically leaving the "Hide" button hidden. The software doesn't deliver on its performance promises in too many ways. The keystrokes it captured were not only random and limited, but were cluttered with a lot of garbage that was never typed. Instant message captures were random as well. Not all messages were captured. Screenshots worked okay. Documentation is non-existent, and support is available via e-mail only. It strikes me that this software is simply not ready for release, and is not a suitable choice for adequate child protection - not at this or any other price. I'll be looking at SpectorPro from Spector Software.
