Description:

Vegas Video 2.0 is a PC-based, multitrack video-editing system. It combines a streamlined interface with a powerful feature set, allowing you to quickly and easily create and edit video content. Vegas Video integrates video-editing, video-compositing, audio-editing, and advanced-encoding tools into one application, making it a complete system. It is fast, intuitive, and easy to use, and offers a nearly unlimited combination of effects, compositing tools, transitions, filters, and crop and motion controls.

Simple drag-and-drop operations allow you to visually cut, paste, move, and add transitions to video events, increasing your creative possibilities. Vegas Video automatically displays edits and effects in real time; no rendering is required for previewing changes. Processing speed is limited only by your computer. Use video with different sizes, frame rates, and formats on the same track without conversion, and render to just about any resolution. Superimpose video events with ease and speed, and apply keyframeable transitions including Additive Dissolve, Clock Wipe, Crossfade, Linear Wipe, Push, Squeeze, and more. Rotate, resize, stretch, flip, or apply 2-D motion to a video track, and add keyframeable drop shadows and glows.

You have complete control over your audio content as well. Manipulate audio events down to the sample level and execute crossfades automatically. Expand your audio processing capabilities using award-winning Vegas Audio editing software, including DirectX audio effects like Reverb, EQ, Time Compress/Expand, and Noise Gate. Get professional-quality sound with clean 24-bit, 96 kHz audio support.

For output, you can encode/save your files to many formats, including RealAudio G2 or RealVideo 8 (RM), Windows Media 7 (WMV), AVI, and QuickTime 4.0 (MOV). Audio formats include: AIF, MP3, WAV, and WMA. Insert metadata command markers, including RealMedia or Microsoft ASF actions, to launch Web sites, display captions, and more. The Preview-in-Player feature allows you to preview project sections in a variety of formats directly in the target media player, so you can view your work exactly how your audience will see it.
