Summary: Movie DV 4.0 with fire wire card
Review: Absolute junk. That about sums it up. I paid ... for Movie DV + which includes a fire wire card.
- The card doesn't work. My operating system can't even see it.
- The MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 compilers lock up my computer whenever I try to use them
- The AVI compilers work as long as you don't try to join more than 2 clips at a time. Any more and the computer blue screens.
- The "User Forum" on AIST's web site is a broken link.
- I sent an E-mail asking for help and never got a reply.
Do yourself a favor and download Multiquence from Goldwave.com. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles, but is rock stable.

Review: I found the editorial review misleading. I bought this product thinking I'd be able to use it right away. When the package arrived I discovered I needed to have the (IEEE 1394) firewire card that is NOT INCLUDED in this package....

Summary: Very poor install program
Review: If you buy this program be sure your backup files are current. I had all the system requirement as specified but the install program ended abnormally and corrupted my system. I ultimately had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall my operating system and all my other programs. I would give this product zero stars if I could.

Summary: Never out grow
Review: The software is not the easiest to learn, but to my surprise this is a plus. MovieDV has more features and capabiltiy than anything I ahve seen in the video editing market without spending over 1000.00. I added new effects via download,3D titling, morphing, and chroma keying were added as I needed them.
Full 3D motion over everything including titles impressed me. Worked greate with my firewire card and the batch capture and tape analysis was very helpful.

Review: This product is great. I really like how it can change the DV for the better of the film. I think that it is definately worth the money. If you have a Digital Video Camera, I think that this is a must buy!
