Rating: Summary: Mixman Studio Pro 4.0-The computer music mixing dream Review: Mixman Studio Pro 4.0 is the best music mixing software I've used to date. I am a PC music mixing veteran and I'm very familiar with mixman. Mixman is easy to use, doesn't need a lot of grunt and gives unparalleled audio quality (speakers willing). Mixman offers hundreds of sounds, cuts, samples, loops, beats, FX's, rythms etc. If Mixman doesn't have the sound you want, You can record it yourself (you can also plug instruments in to your computer). When you've recorded your completed mix, you just click the save button. Or if you want to be heard you just click export and turn your mix in to any of the current popular audio formats and mail to friends or post it on the net. There is also a Radio Mixman where you and fellow mixers can be heard world-wide. The price is also reasonable for mixing software. If you want some no-fuss, no-hastle, reliable and easy to use mixing software you can't go past mixman Studio Pro 4.0.
Rating: Summary: This is intuitive and has great sounds and abilities Review: One cannot go wrong with the Mixman. The only thing I would suggest is to name it the "MixWoman" but how many "lads" would buy it. Unfortunately much turtabling is still in a lads world but believe me, the small community of "mixmasters" that load their music at the site before going to MP3 and selling are REALLY GREAT to learn from... P>Let's here it for cheap and innovative and YES I use it for my radio show and would edit it to "slides" and/or "video" work and "theatrical" shows too. It's a great back up without the nasty copyright blues. Ick. Go Mixman. Buy the Pro if you've the money and print the PDF instructions just so you are even more in touch as you get used to what you're doing but day one if you have an ear you are already on your way there, "mixing in a deep alto tweak of "There's no place like home" (My first mix called "No Kansas.") A riot and a real hitmaker.

Rating: Summary: Look mom im a DJ ! Review: This is the coolest piece of software. You can do so much with it and it will keep you entertained for hours. Its cool that you can export to MP3. The sound you get is amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Its like being a DJ plus you get to create your own sounds and import .wav files. Oh YEAH !
Rating: Summary: Fun, easy to use, and productive Review: This software is hard to beat. It offers an easy to use interface which looks just like DJ turntables. I have literally spent hours at my desk mixing and remixing tunes. The good thing about this software is you can improv all the way, and listen as you create. The sound quality is excellent while you are playing, and also when you export your creation. You can export to WAV, MP3, WMA, and RealAudio file formats, so you can listen to them anywhere on CD, the internet, or your MP3 player. I use this software to make music for my web Flash movies, and I also do video editing that needs background music as well. I have to worry about copyright issues if I just take someone else's music, but with Mixman I can just create my own music. The reason I give it four stars is because of the system requirements. It says you need a PII 233Mhz with 32MB of RAM as a minimum. I have a PIII 533Mhz with 384MB of RAM and I still get error messages saying my processor is not fast enough to handle some of the special effects filters! (Everything else works fine though) All in all, this is good software that you can use for work or play. There isn't a lot of software in this price range that has as many features, or is as easy to use.
