Rating: Summary: Ease of use and Long life Review: The manual is a bit thin at 102 pages, but open it up and it does a pretty thorough job of explaining all of its basic features. The manual is enough because the clean Magix interface is intuitive and lets you experiment comfortably.Other companies such as Cakewalk (Cakewalk has some extraneous sound board features I would not really use), and Sonicfoundry (very impressive, but a bit intimidating and complex) do not really give you that clean kind of interface that makes you want to play around with its features. In fact, the left 20% of the interface is dedicated to constantly giving you an eagle eye view of two local directories of your choosing... Very useful when combining and layering effects. The library of sound clips is top notch. I've owned my copy of Magix MM Pro v1 for under a year now, and I still have yet to explore all its contents. Its collection of 14 super high quality CDs is the reason why I bought MM Pro v1. I would say this MM Pro v1 is excellent for web and media professionals who don't want to know or don't have the time to understand how to create impressive music.
