Summary: Terrible
Review: I have found this product to be a complete bucket of guano. Although it hasn't "Hung" my computer it creates CD's that are not recognized by the computer they were created on, let alone a remote box. It creates CD's that stop in the middle of a track, or "hang" not playing the track at all. It is consistent in that it creates an unreliable CD in either CD Copy or Data mode. I won't use it again.

Summary: Easiest CD Burning Interface there is!
Review: I have used NERO(came with my cdrw). I must say CD Maker does everything that NERO does. It is so much easier to use than NERO, you can actually understand the directions. There are no problems using it with XP, as there are with ROXIO. It is priced right, and for me it is the best CD Burning Product there is.

Summary: Not quite as bad as Roxio
Review: I recently replaced my computer with a 2 gig, Pentium 4 and found out right away that Roxio wouldn't work and their upgrades did not improve performance. I bought NTI CD Maker and found it to be a little better. I have made 2 or 3 copies of discs, but never smoothly. It still stalls, sputters and cripples along. Usually, my computer will lock up and the only way out is to turn it off and back on. Ctrl,Alt,del will not even reset it. If it was worth anything, I would sell it used. I have made many coasters with this software and I think the program disc will ad to my collection. Customer support is nonexistant. Buy it at your own risk!

Summary: The best. Totally reliable.
Review: Roxio/Adaptec has always given me problems on several machines over several years.

NTI CD-Maker has always worked right the first time and every time. I have used this software on machines from 133mHz P1--2xSCSI burner to 1.8gHz P4--40x burner. From my experience, install NTI and run it and it works, no testing needed--even when, and especially when, Roxio has crashed and/or messed up the whole system.

NTI also includes a unique but simple cache scheme which eliminates buffer underruns with slower burners and/or slower machines. It's an automatic default that you can adjust or turn off. If everyone was using NTI there would never have been any need for "burnproof" stuff in the burner drive. Even if you have a faster machine and drive this simple caching makes burning a little faster.

This is an excellent program. It's not flashy and over-graphiced like Roxio or even Nero, and NTI is extremely user-friendly. NTI uses relatively few system resources too. For hacker types, in NTI you can get in and view and set many CD header things that Roxio never lets you see at all.

This software is perfect.

Summary: The Best Burner
Review: This product is so easy. One click to pick the files you want to burn and then a second click to actually burn them. This product supports video CD formats so you can even burn videos on to a CD and then play them on your DVD player in your living room.

This is so much better than Roxio.
