CPUkeys PC Security System

Summary: I don't worry about my kids on the computer anymore.
Review: I have regular teenagers at home and one of my biggest problems is that they are still learning to be responsible.
CPUkeys let's me give my kids the freedom they want on the computer while giving me a way to control what can be accessed and/or when.

I have found that I can restrict access to network settings while allowing access to the keyboard settings and other things that my kids need to change. I even can restrict access to games during the school week and allow them on the weekends.

I think this software package is fantastic for any parent that hates having their computer fixed after a family member has accidentally changed something that causes the computer to go haywire.

When I say "I heard you playing 'mega zap noids'" and my child says "No I wasn't" it is terrific to be able to say "Let's go look at the log file and if you were not playing that game I will apologize to you, But if you were then........." You get the idea.

I can even make an automatic cut-off time for "chat" so my kids don't stay up to late.

In closing I can just say "It's about time someone came up with a program that makes it simple to control access to my home computer".......N5PSM

Summary: Poor Support
Review: Please buy with care, I purchased CPUKeys as part of the FamilyKeys product only two months ago now and I still cannot use it.
FamilyKeys is actually a combination of two other products, CPUkeys and FilterKeys. Although both products seem to fit the bill as far as functionality goes, I am unable to register either of them. I have valid serial numbers but the registration process does not work. You will not receive any support from the resellers of the licenses and there seems to be only a single support person for these products at softappco.
Repeated e-mails only received a muted response,and that after days of waiting. Apart from issuing even more serial numbers for me to try and use, they seem completely incapable of dealing with any thing other than selling you the product.
So in short, purchase with care, if all goes well you may never have a problem, but if like me, you get even a minor technical hitch, be prepared to live with the consequences and lose your investment.
Its a shame because of all the products I tested, this bundle seemd like the best choice.
