Review: Can't believe how fast my computer is now. It was easy to download and easy to run. Wish I'd gotten it sooner.

Summary: Believe me, you NEED this software...
Review: I was a little skeptical about this, with the competition (Norton/Mcafee) being so much more well known, etc., but figured I'd take a chance on a newbie. Well, let me tell you -- this product blows them all out of the water! In five minutes I had my PC running faster than it ever did before, and I have not had any of the errors or weird problems I was getting beforehand, even after I'd tried Norton/McAfee/Fixit/etc... Not only that, but I noticed a very significant increase (about 150%) in downloads, email, and general web surfing speeds.

I'm running Windows XP, and the System Mech software has never caused harm to my system, and that's a LOT more than I can say about the other guys!

Bottom line: If you run Windows, you should have a utility that maintains your computer correctly. The best one I've found is System Mechanic.

Review: System Mechanic is a great compilation of utilities.
The 3 I use the most are the junk file cleaner, the dead shortcut cleaner and the registry cleaner. However there are many more tools in this package. There is a Windows Startup tool that I like better than MSConfig(it allows you to remove bad entries). An internet connection settings tweaker, to help speed up your connection. It also allows you to clean cookies and Internet history records. There is also a good selection of Windows tweaks.
Their customer service is good too! They are quick to answer emails and help you if you have problems.
If only the price was not as high I would give it 5 stars.

Review: system mechanic is good tool for every computer user but its bad feature is that it closes all your future needs for mechanic if you are not able to purchase it after a thirty days evaluation period. It is do or die tool good for computer maintainance, freeing space on hard disk, clearing duplicate file removeing junk file ...approximately is on the higher side unable to pay by an avarage user in India. Good tool and system mechanic indeed...

Summary: Powerful Simplicity
Review: The thing I like about this software is that it has really powerful tools that are laid out pretty simply so the average user (like myself) can safely use them. For example, I've always been afraid to go into my registry (was always told by support guys to avoid) but the Registry Cleaner tool in System Mechanic makes it easy because it's ONLY finding invalid entries that I don't have to worry about removing! THAT'S what I've been waiting for in a product. Some of System Mechanic's competion does sort of the same thing but in more of a [seemingly] hap-hazard way where it will find and remove more registry entries that I actually need and then mess up my system... not good. System Mechanic, yes good!

Summary: Nice performance with no worries
Review: This application actually amazed me. I was standing by with a registry backup waiting for disaster to strike. No, I can't say this program actually cleaned out the registry -- despite its messages -- but it has yet to cause a problem.

The other features it includes are fantastic.

One click cleaning of Internet junk and searches, dead registry keys, and bastard files on the hard drive.

I don't think this software is near what we're paying for, but it includes free upgrades, so let us hope they put out something a bit nicer in the future.
