Rating: Summary: Why bother?? Don't waste your money Review: As others have notes, Mozilla offers ths service for FREE. Also, you can download software from google.com which also blocks pop-ups in Nternet Explorer. Guess what? It's FREE too. Don't waste $25 on this garbage. Also, if you notice, most of these reviews seem to come from Stopzilla employees - don't be tempted!!
Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Review: Blocks all of the pop ups while running completely behind the scenes - I never have to worry about it. Could not ask for a better product.

Rating: Summary: Not worth it Review: Bought Stopzilla. Uninstalled it - caused too many problems and didn't work well besides. Just received another charge for $29.95 for what I don't know... Still trying to reach someone about it...
Rating: Summary: Stopzilla garbaged up my system, made a mess Review: Couldn't install. Got most of the way, then installation ground to a halt. Then, couldn't un-install. Bombed. Icons, registry, folders and remove listing still there. Install/Remove doesn't touch it. Dumped what I could, but still listings and stuff in the system. The help files and FAQs were useless.
Rating: Summary: Does what it claims to, but misses the cause. Review: First of all, this software _does_ stop pop-ups; as can many other completely free programs. However I think the approach of blocking pop-ups is completely missing the point. Why bother killing the individual bee, (the pop-up ad), when you can take out the cause, the bee hive (spyware/adware). In my experience, if you are already protecting yourself from spyware, you shouldn't be getting a lot of pop-ups, unless you are visiting unsavory sites or using file swapping programs. To protect yourself from spyware, there are many fine programs available including; Ad Aware, Spybot, and Spyware Blaster. Try these out and you will see the number of pop-ups you get decline dramatically.
Rating: Summary: It is not good as seems Review: I can not a good anti pops up software so far. Stopzilla indeed suppress many pops up but not all. You have to add websites with pops-up to its black list which takes awhile. It also destroys functional windows in many websites, in your e-mail, etc. Perhaps, it causes script error messages as well. Overall, in my view, it is not worth to use.
Rating: Summary: Why Bother? Just Use Netscape or Mozilla--it's free Review: I don't know why anyone would bother paying for pop-up blockers. The latest versions of Mozilla and Netscape web browsers have built-in pop-up blockers. All you have to do is go to either Mozilla.org or Netscape.com and download the software for free. Install, and go into the Preferences and disable the pop-ups. Not only does it work better than any third-party software, it increases the speed of your Internet connection because you don't have addiotnal programs eating into your system memory. Why anyone would waste their money on junkware like this is beyond me. Now if only Internet Explorer would do this...
Rating: Summary: Forget Pop-Up Software-Use a better browser Review: I have tried several popup killers and uninstalled them all after installing a browser that had a popup killer built in. crazybrowser.com has a freeware browser that is a front end to Internet Explorer (it uses the same IE engine with a different "skin"). Popups NEVER invade my screen now but it still allows for javascript popups that I click on myself. Forget spending money on popup software. Get the freebie and be much happier.
Rating: Summary: SMART Review: I installed Stopzilla and I immediately saw awesome results. This thing is kewl and I don't have to do anything when I install it...that's the best part. It just works, and it only kills the annoying ads. Before i bought this, I used to want to throw my computer out of the window!!!! Not any more.....great product!
