Summary: The best software ever
Review: This is the the greatest pc migrating software that i have ever used in my life, I mean it moved everything over. It was so simply and easy, I recommend that everyone trys it. You will love it.

Summary: Slow but Simple
Review: This is the worst software I've ever purchased. It's supposed to make it easy to transfer files and settings from your previous computer. Instead, it took me more time to try to set it up to work, than it would have taken to transfer everything manually. For one thing, the box comes with two obscure cables - a network transfer cable and a high-speed parallel cable called the "Aloha Bob" cable which requires you to make changes to your
BIOS just to use it. It does NOT come with a USB cable!!! When I tried to use my own USB cable, the drivers were incompatible with Windows XP, and there were no updated drivers on the website, only a comment that you can "ignore the XP message that tells you not to install the driver." Ignoring that message doesn't make the driver work. Finally, once I opened the software (which prevents you from returning it to the retailer, of course), I discovered the program doesn't even put your data files into the right place - at least not as far as I could tell from the documentation. Instead, it takes all your Word files, for example, and puts them in a "Word Files" folder. Don't waste your money!

Summary: Slow but Simple
Review: This software is not top of the line.. therefor isn't promoted as such... or priced as such. I was very pleased with the outcome of it's use. The install was fast and simple (and I was only working with one monitor between two PCs). Transfer time was a bit lengthy but WELL worth the while. I suspect that maybe the other users who had problems were either not very knowledgeable about taking on such a task by themselves... OR they had pre-existing PC problems.

I recommend this (for the money).

(In quick reference to another review here - nowhere does this product state that it comes with a USB cable for transfer - that comes with the pricier PC transfer software kits - and NO alterations to your PC are necessary).

Summary: Never worked at all
Review: This software never worked at all. I could not establish a connection between the two computers. Safe-mode, regular mode, turn the source on first, turn the target on first none of it made a difference. In addition, the note inside, that it may not move all of the programs should probably be on the outside.

A complete waste of money.

Summary: Messed up a simple transfer....
Review: Transferred documents well, and that is about it. Messed up Office XP and Word when the transfer was finally complete and Office needed to be fully reinstalled. The transfer was between two pc's both using XP, (one p3 Dell, moving to a p4 Dell) so I didn't think the transfer would be bad at all. Initially said transfer would take 3 hours on the countdown, but ended up taking 12 hours using USB bridge cable. The software didn't save a lot of settings like I thought they would especially favorites. Ended up with multiple sets of bookmarks/favorites in browser when I initially had about 50 pages bookmarked somehow I ended up with 400 after the transfer. ...USB was kind of a pain to connect btw. Not really what I expected to get and should have listened to reviewers.
