DriveWorks is an integrated suite of five applications that provideseverything you need to safely manage your hard drive. You will be able topartition and resize your disk, perform imaging to backup, restore entiredrives or partitions, copy and expand one drive to another, perform a securemultipass drive erase, and schedule automatic backups ofyour data files. This package includes Partition Commander, ImageCommander, Copy Commander, SecurErase, and AutoSave.Partition Commander provides you with the ability to safely resizepartitions, providing you with the ability to better organize your harddrive, reclaim wasted disk space, and, in some cases, actually speed up yoursystem. Image Commander allows you to make an image of a partition oryour entire hard drive to insure that you have an exact duplicate of yoursystem and your data is safely stored away. Image Commander makes a compressedimage file that can be easily saved to a CD, Zip, or Jaz drive, another hard drive, or a network drive. Should your computer system go down for the count,this easy-to-use, wizard-driven imaging solution lets you restore it to aprior state when everything worked right. Copy Commander provides you with an easy way to automatically transfereverything from your old hard drive to your new hard drive without losingany of your preferences, settings, or data. Copy Commander supports all PCoperating systems and their file systems. If you have multiplepartitions, Copy Commander copies them for you and even gives you theoption to have them proportionally expanded on your new disk. SecurEraseprovides a multipass drive and partition erase to make sure that your data issecurely and completely erased for good. AutoSave is an automatic backup program that runs in the background under Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, or Me. It automatically and invisibly backs up files that you create, and modifies them as you are working. A complement to Image Commander, which takes care of your periodic full backups, AutoSave concentrates only on those files that you create and work with between those full backups, a real-time automatic backup solution for continuous, up-to-the-minute protection.
