Summary: A product I could use, but tech support is TERRIBLE
Review: Since I'm a Lotus Organizer user, I need a third party application to sync my calendar information. Intellisync seemed to fit the bill.

However, I couldn't get the software to install and all the Puma tech support would say is that if I was running any software (at all) other than Windows, they would not provide tech support. She recommended that I UNINSTALL ALL SOFTWARE and call back! What a terrible policy.

Of course, I wasn't about to do that, so I installed it on another machine, which worked with just a few glitches. That's when I found out that Intellisync will only synce timed calendar entries, BUT NOT ALL DAY APPOINTMENTS. Since I rely on using ALL DAY appointments, it was useless to me.

So if all you have is short appointments and no other software on your PC, you may be OK. Otherwise, try another product.

Summary: simple, easy to use
Review: This is great for users of Palm and Outlook. Email synch is full of problems, but contacts, to do lists and calendar works just fine. No hassles.

Before you buy you can download a test version for free from Pumatech. You can also go desktoptogo.com for their trial run. I tried both and this one is definitely better.

Summary: Great Product - Still needs some work.
Review: We got this product to use with a Novell Groupwise mail system. It works great for most functions except memos. Groupwise has a memo system, but Intellisync will not map to it. Otherwise it has worked wonderfully for those of us with Palm and Handspring devices.

Summary: Doesn't work w/ OS 5.0, worst tech support
Review: We have a 100 visors and palms synching to GroupWise and normally have no trouble with this software. When it does mess up, it's usually user error in answering the conflict messages & a total reset & re-sync usually solves the problem. Their tech support is one of the worst we deal with: not knowledgeable, poor FAQs. They have acknowledged their current product doesn't sync GroupWise Mail with Palm VersaMail but haven't posted that info on their web site. OS 5.0 has been available to developers for almost 6 months. Hello, a little customer service here. Wish there was another alternative.

Summary: Stopped the Crashes
Review: While this product worked flawlessly for months, it suddenly failed for no reason. Reinstalling did not fix the problem. Users with identical Intellisync settings on the same platforms had conflicting results. Upgrading to Pentium 4 system resulted in nearly complete failure to synchronize. As others noted, customer support was worthless. Intellisyn says they will not support custom templates in Lotus Notes, yet, it works on some PC platforms and not others. Easy Sync is a much better option.
