Summary: I can't recommend this Java IDE to anyone
Review: My development shop has been using VAJ Enterprise for several months now, and it's been nothing but trouble. Everyone is having problems. The program will crash, losing all our work. It does not always save the workspace. The CPU utilization randomly remains at 100%, requiring the box to be restarted. We're all running it locally and using the local repository, and yes, Patch 2 has been installed. IBM is no help. It's certainly not worth the price, and there are much better IDE's out there. A friend of mine actually works at IBM, and they don't even use VisualAge for Java as their Java IDE (they use Visual Cafe instead). That speaks volumes. This software is a joke. Also, you can't find a single decent book on this program.
