Rating: Summary: Automate 5 Review: A very good soft for automation on Windows stations. I use it actually in the evaluation form and will buy it soon the evaluation time is over. Recommended for all users using scripts or other complicated procedures on their PC. With Automate 5 I handle all major procedures, it's very easy to use for non-programmers.
Rating: Summary: Good software, but may be over priced Review: It's a decent product (4 stars), but the price seems a bit high for what it does (1 star). The best way that I can think of to describe it is to look at it like a turbo charged batch file program, but a little easier to configure. It can start up and make your favorite programs do whatever they are suppose to do, and then shut down when they are finished. The only thing that you need to do is take the time to program the steps properly for each program (almost like setting up macros). Considering the prices of other utility software for the home and office consumer, this could be seen as a tad over priced (as well as the Pro version). I would think that in some cases lower prices would get more people interested into using it (profit through volume). Bottom Line: Although I liked version 4 and choked up up the money for it, their stiff prices have kept me on the sidelines for version 5, and perhaps for the future. I'd continue using their software if they had a more reasonable upgrade policy.
