Rating: Summary: Great game, but... Review: This is a fun game, but it is not worth the monthly fee. I have played this game for months, the game itself is very fun, but the service, and the community events are terrible, simply because-there is none, 0 no events, and the gms are not helpfull at all, you can wait 6 hours for a gm to get to you, and they dont even help.
Also this game has bad server reliability, i have tried numerus times to log in on weekends, and they are down due to erver problems, these server problems can last days, and then, on they are fixed, they have log in problems, and that adds another hour (or 3) to the waiting time
The last major issue, is what your paying for, and what your not getting, mainly patches, they have had 1 major patch since the realease of this game, they themselves said that there would be one every month. personally i do nto want to pay $15 dollars for this.
Im not bashing this game, i am just pointing out the major problems that are never fixed, the gms say "we will look into this" and thne nothing is ever done, this has happened on many occssions, and class unbalances are so bad, that more than 1/2 of the gaming population are rogues (me, being one hahah)
I am not the only one who have this same feeling, and it seems, the only way for this company to see what is wrong is if enough people quit, on the forums, people say what they do not like, it is either ignored, or blocked for "not being consructive" when they are just trying to point something out.
well thats basically the current problem with this game, now i promise you, i am not exxagerating, just want to show the people a different perspective than the usual fanboys who would support this company, even if they somehoe killed millions of people
the cons of the game make it unplayable, or...unpayable
Rating: Summary: One of the Elite Review: I began playing this game during its Open Beta and thus far I have yet to find another better game. Although the graphics and sound quality are not great, the game play more than makes up for this lack. If you do purchase the game, be sure to create a character on a low population server, as the high population servers have major lag issues. Only a few other games have even meet the quality of World of WarCraft, in my opionion. These games also happen to be by the same developer, Blizzard Entertainment. If you like this game, you will probably also like Diablo II by Blizzard, and visa versa. Over all, the storyline in World of WarCraft is much better than Diablo II with simlar extremely addicting game play.
Rating: Summary: I'm in WOW bata :) Review: I don't know about the min requermint, but I can tell you my pc's config, I have a P4 2.4, 512RAM, Geforce 5200 128MB
the installer is about 2.4GB, it took me half an hour to install, so it's big. I think I might need a better video card, coz in 1024x768 I only can use the lower setting.
I'm night elf hunter, LVL 10, now I can tamp beast now :D
the game is great, you have to see for yourself.
Rating: Summary: Going to be completely amazing. Review: I have been looking for as much information on World of Warcraft as possible and have gathered enough to write a review. World of Warcraft is going to be a massive online roleplaying game M.O.R.G. that will have many servers that will let thousands of people play in a single 'world'. They will be giving lots of room for character interaction. So far they have realeased 4 races that you can choose your character from including human, orc, tauren, and dwarf. They've also made a few character classes including magic user, warrior, a cleric type class. The graphics are going to be 100% amazing. They have recently announced they will have mounts for the characters to ride in the game. It's going to be a game of adventure, excitement, and addiction.

Rating: Summary: And I thought I'd never play an MMORPG again... Review: I refused to play this game. Plain and simple. I was done with all the massively multiplayer games. Especially fantasy themed ones.
My girlfriend had been playing this one for a while though, so one day she decided to just pick up another copy for me so I could give it a try. Reluctantly, I decided to play it for a few minutes so I could say "see, it sucks, just like all the other ones!". But I haven't gotten to that yet, because I am still playing! My character just reached level 20 (after just over a week), and I am hooked!
What is so different about this game? Well, I am not really sure to be honest. For one, I like the quests a lot better than in other online games. None of them seem auto-generated, but instead, the game has some 2000 quests that you can do individually, one after the other. It is much more like playing an offline game than the stupid level grinding nonsense the other games make you go through.
The game does an excellent job of guiding you through the world. The first quests start out easy and you stay in your starting area. You level up quickly and get stronger. Then, you get your first quests that make you venture out a bit further. It seems that every time you just have seen enough of a certain part of the world, the game takes you by the hand and guides you into the next part of the world that is quite different than the one before.
Of course, you are free to go wherever you want and meet whomever you want to talk to. But every time you are about to get lost or do not know what to do, the game guides you into a new fun area. As I said: It is kind of like progressing through an offline game.
You also get a good sense of accomplishment. While in other online games you "are just there" and the greatest thing you accomplish is leveling up, here, you take care of more meaningful quests and move along in your story line. Where other games feel like glorified chat clients with a gaming element thrown in, this feels more like a game that happens to have other people whom you share the world with.
Well done, Blizzard!
So what's the catch? Well, there are some things I do not love. While I like the game world, I hate the UI. I challenge everyone to explain to me when you right-click and when to left-click. And I am a programmer myself for crying out loud! I should be able to figure it out. Of course, you can learn the UI and after a while, you won't mind, but still, it is not all that great.
There also are a few other problems. Graphics bugs, characters locking up, that sort of stuff. And they had their share of server problems, which strangely, nobody seems to give them much of a hard time about. I guess there is a certain bonus you have, when you are Blizzard.
And then there are a few game-play things I am not crazy about. Fighting monsters is a bit mathematical IMO. Sure, you influence a lot based on your spells and abilities and stats, but there are certain points, where you just can not win. If you happen to get into the middle of a few monsters (perhaps because they re-spawn right next to you), then you might as well kill yourself. Especially when you are a low-level character without any special speed-abilities, you don't even have the option to run away, because the monsters will always catch you. Not fun.
Overall, these are minor issues. If you like online games: You will love this one! If you hate online games: Give this one a try! You might change your mind...
Rating: Summary: Hidden Costs Review: PARENTS BEWARE-when you buy this game you are unaware that in order to play it the way it was intended, (according to all the kids that have it) you need to subscribe to a service for $15.00 @ month to play with others. Nowhere in the descriptive elements of the game was this stated; if it had been, the game would not have been purchased as a Christmas present. I feel cheated and duped. Your kid may want it, but do you want to pay a monthly fee for him to play it-CAVEAT EMPTOR! Buyer beware.
Rating: Summary: Been Playing for Three Months Now - Still Love It Review: The only place I exp lag in WOW is in the larger city's. And it is still tolerable.
EQ2 lag made me nuts. At times I would just quit playing EQ2 instead of trying to make it from one end of a city to the other.
I enjoy the seamless zones in WOW. No waiting to enter a new area. The only time you have to wait is during intercontinental travel. Even then the loading is very breif in WOW.
EQ2 makes you wait anywhere from 2-5 min between every zone. Crazy.
The quests are still fun in WOW. I enjoy finding better gear and some of the higher level quests are chain quests that result in great gear in the end.
EQ2 quests were a waste of my time. Little reward for lots of wasted time and effort.
The different zones are fun to explore in WOW. The graphics for each zone have thier own feel. Whether the Tauren areas or the undead city's the graphics are great. Always looking forward to new zones to see.
EQ2 had what seemed like very little areas that looked different. Every place I went looked like the last. Was never sure if I was exploring or just running through the same boring zone with loading times between zones.
Since WOW is getting too popular, there are a lot of undesireable people now playing. When I started the community was great. Slowly it is becoming a slum.
EQ2 community is still great since only a small amount of people are currently playing that game.
Log in and Out time is amazing in WOW. within 1 min I can be online playing from me desktop.
EQ2 was hidious here. Wait could be up to 10 min.
My only request is that Blizzard stop adding people to the current servers and start putting all of the newbies on new servers. I'm sick of the attitudes and BS that comes with the game getting too big.
Rating: Summary: Far from the best! Review: This game has fair flaws in my mind, but they are easily ignored.
First off the charachter creation is limmited to only face, hair style, sometimes facial hair and skin color and hair color, which are pretty minor and unnoticable things, i was hoping for height and weight managment but oh well.
Second is that no matter what race you pick the class abillities are the same. Orc warrior will have same special moves as a gnome warrior. I just think since they are different races they should have different powers. But like i said this dose not relay damage the game since both races are in different enviorment giving different storylines.
Game is very fun though, there are some cool new things for me like "rage" its a substitute for warriors mana. And the world is surprisingly rich and full of diverse enviorment. From the start you will figh pretty big beasts wich kinda made me happy since all i hear from other mmorpgs is that the first enemies are annoying bugs and snakes.
Main thing you will like in this game is charachter development, this is probably why this game is liked so much. I for example had a great feeling of glee when my gnome become good enough to make some engeenirng device.
Overall Its a fun game but its not the best, it dose get frustrating at times, and you might need to take a break from it ocassionaly because its pissing you off, but i like a chalange.
Anyways thuis how i feel about this game, maybe a more diverse
