Summary: W O W
Review: I've seen a lot of screenshots of this game floating around, and the only word to describe it is WOW. I can't wait for this release, it's going to be awesome. If you like RPGs and haven't tried MMORPGs, you'll love EQ. If you already love EQ, you HAVE to get this.

Summary: EverQuest, the dilema
Review: I highly agree that there will be better games coming out, Neverwinter Nights is going to awesome beyond belief, but with all those other games you are forgetting one thing. EverQuest is run on highly-advanced servers that make for no lag, my ping stays under 150 all the time. With the other games you have to worry that you will lag out because the other people are so slow... All in all, the game is well worth the [money].

Summary: Forever and ever
Review: I would recommend this game to anyone, at first you might wonder whats going on especially in the tutorial, but once you start playing online and interacting with real players its very very addictive, the thing i enjoy the most about E.Q is the fact that in a normal game the responses of the characters is set and is always the same , not so with E.Q interaction with other players is really important for quests and fighting larger monsters this is great for making friends, I have made so many friends who have helped me in the game, and now im helping others thats half the fun not just hacking and slashing. if you get this game you will play forever and ever!

Summary: EverQuest
Review: Although I obviously do not have this expansion set yet, I have been playing EQ since november of 1999. It is a very addictive but exspensive game. This game owns your life. When I stopped playing I had so much more fun with my life. I went out with my friends just about everyday when I quit this game. I saved a lot of money to. The game itself really isnt that fun when you break it down. What do you do? Sit in one spot waiting for a certain monster to pop up, sometimes for hours and even then it doesnt show up. Then if you are lucky and you spot the critter, you need to be even luckier in order to get some rare item off it. After all this waiting what do you do? You either sell it or keep it, and repeat this painstakig process. I only gave it 3 stars because its addictive

Summary: If You Are Into Roleplaying This Game Is A Must
Review: Sure you have to pay 10 dollars a month to me that is very little payment for the massive worlds that you can play in. Everquest's World of Norrath is just huge with soo many quests monsters spells skills, it's well worth the tiny 10 bucks a month which at the very least most of us can at LEAST make in an hour. But anyways the game is very exiting and lots of teamwork in groups is invovled. With SOL coming out the graphics will be even better and even more will be added. If you like roleplaying games you should give this a try, I did and I luv the game.(Caldiyena 21 Chanter of The Seventh Hammer Server)

Summary: $10 a month and worth every penny
Review: $10 a month is cheap for the entertainment value you receive from everquest. First of all, the game is incredibly more engaging than any of the "funnier" games as the other guy mentioned.... and it requires a lot more involvement of producer staff...thus the $10. But when you look at it, it's only $2.50 a week. Compare it with a trip to the movies....

So if you're only interested in big guns and blowing people up, yeah, don't pay $10. But if you want something really interactive, with a community of players that you can actually interact with, then get this. Much better than the other online RPGs, btw..

Summary: Very involved
Review: Everquest is a RPG that brings together people from all around the world to play in an awesome environment that continues to expand into new worlds. With quests, epic encounters, ally's and awesome weapons it creates a game with few limits.

Shadows of Luclin looks to be an amazing addition to this game and I intend to buy it right when it comes out. Everquest is very addictive and insane fun. I recommend it to anyone who has the time to be able to spend building up a character.

Summary: Why rate something you have never played?
Review: This review above me makes no sense.. he has never played the game.. or the first expansion.. or the second expansion.. and yet is writing a review for the 3rd expainsion that hasnt even been released.

Take it from a REAL PLAYER. this game is fun, exciting and well worth the money I Spend. If this one is as good as the last 2 I am hooked for another 2 years.

Summary: Newest technology available
Review: Like it did nearly 2 and half years ago, Sony and Verant will blow away the competition with this new expansion. It has been dubbed Everquest 1.5 by many of the staff because it is a huge stepping stone between the original EQ and EQ2. It uses the newest graphics engines in a marriage with the most advanced gaming systems ever developed. This is definitely going on the wishlists of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, and I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being the number one selling computer game of the 4th quarter if not the year!

Buy this game if your system can handle it, if it can't maybe you should put two things down on your holiday wishlist.
