Summary: Awsome
Review: I got this game but i had a little trouble. First of all i would like to identify those people making a fuss about the graphics and how "The Could Of Drawn it" and theres only a few of them anyways. Mabey if you people would enter the 21st Century and get a good Video Card then you would find the ultimate pleasure that millions around the world find in this game. And ecspecialy the one comparing it to Elmo's World? Come on. This game is extrodinary with few problems but those problems are correctable with patches that should be coming soon. Note: I found out that this game dosent do very well on Nvidia Graphics cards. So if u have one and notice a stuttering and slow motion thats because of the compatibility problem. Patch, I dont know yet. Im just getting a knew graphics card anyways Great game Definately Buy it.

Summary: PC Clone of PS2 Version + Better GFX
Review: If you have already purchased GTA3 for the playstation 2 and are looking forward to seeing new things in the PC Version, you will be greatly dissapointed.

The big craze about the PC Version was seeing Multiplayer mode incorporated so you can play with your friends on LAN or Internet -- However this is not possible in the official release. It appears they scraped the multiplayer feature in order to make their deadline.

There's talk about a later "addon" or seperate release that will focus more on Multiplayer of GTA3, but I haven't personally seen anything on this yet.

Review: This game lets me do all those things I have been fiending to do since video games came into my life. I wanted to be able to do whatever I wanted, including heinously violent acts and all that stuff. To be blunt, how this game got such universal acclaim is beyond me. It's a fun game, for the first 10 minutes. Wow, I just shot an old lady, here comes the ambulance, oh wow I got in the ambulance and ran over the paramedics, I didn't even crack a sadistic smile. The critics said its like playing a video game version of Goodfellas, I'm sorry but thats a little off. There isn't any weight to the violence, its just random slaughter, which isn't really all that funny or original. Rockstar Games originally defended their Grand Theft Auto games by saying the violence is cartoonish, I don't know how they defend this, because its obvious this is the game they really wanted out of the other games. Anyway, I really wanted to love this game, but shock value does not a good game make. ...

Summary: Finally on the PC and i'm PO'D!!
Review: God i wish i wasn't mad at this game right now. I picked my pc copy up yesterday after work and couldn't wait. After patching it to work with XP, I started off on my life of crime. To my surprise that game doesn't run well for some reason. I've got a 1.6 ghz pentium 3, 256 mb ram, geforce2 32mb, and defragged my hard drive and still can't get the game to run smooth over 640x480x16. i did all the speed recommendations and it's playable now most of the time. Hopefully they'll release a patch soon as the only problem i could think of would be something to do with windows xp. I still give it 4 stars because i've played it and love it but i'm just a little sore right now. But damn is this game fun. I saw a guy mug a "lady" while driving so i chased him down, did a driveby, took his money, and went back for a little R&R with my new lady friend. This game is gorgeous, deep, funny, inventive, and most importantly open. There's so much to do and so many places to go, by the time you get tired of this game, gta4 will be out and that ain't gonna be for a while. So pick it up, dish out some pain, and have a ball but please, pray for a patch, pray for me....

Summary: For wannabe thugs and gangsters everywhere - GTA3 delivers
Review: I won't spend time going into how the game is played, I'm sure you already know. I can say, though, that it's true in gameplay to the two previous releases and the graphics are very, very nice! I play it at 1024x768x32 on my 1gig with a GeForce2 Pro with no hesitation whatsoever. Plus it only takes about 300MB of hard drive space to install. So far, no bugs in the game either. Another plus. Finally, the load times are almost nonexistent, even the cutscenes. If only all games were put together this well... (game developers, are you reading this??)

The music is awesome. Choose from reggae, rap, opera (!), techno, jungle, and even some really bad 80's music. Another interesting addition is the talk radio station. In one conversation obviously directed at the detractors of the game, a woman calls saying her son was playing 'Pogo the Monkey' and now all he does is jump around the house looking for gold coins.

The violence is over-the-top, mostly involving stealing something or beating up or killing someone, but the tongue-in-cheek humor is evident. In one mission you plant a car bomb and sit back to watch the show. As this happens, you notice the sign at the restaurant says "eat till you explode." The physics of the different cars, while not realistic, is still evident as you switch from a Hummer to a BMW and the hoods and bumpers go flying as you smash up your vehicle.

My only complaint, and one that I've had about this series since it started, is there is no way to adjust the difficulty settings. Granted there will probably be a million cheat codes floating around the internet very soon, but I hate using them as I feel they take away from the game itself. It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to include options that would allow us to increase/decrease the mission times or make our cars able to withstand a little more or a little less damage. The missions aren't particularly difficult (they actually seem easier than the previous GTA games), but they are challenging enough that I'm sure I'll probably end up stuck on a mission at some point in the game. Usually when this happens I'll end up looking for something else rather than deal with the frustration of playing the same mission over and over again. If you don't suffer from this hangup, I'd suggest you get this game - that is, unless you want me to send Luigi over there to rearrange your face!

Hope my review helped!
