Summary: A rehash of MM6, with a really bad 3D engine
Review: More of MM6, with a "new" 3D engine that causes more problems than it is supposed to solve. The poor 3D implementation makes it virtually unplayable. MM6 was worth the money. You couldn't pay me to buy this game again.

Summary: Here we go again...
Review: Sure, there were numerous worlds to walk through, graphics were moderately interesting, and practicing alchemy was fun. But when I had reached level 30 and I was still running into those 4th level monsters over and over..not to mention the all-too-predictable scifi routine toward the end of the game, I grew increasingly bored. What really irritated me were the bugs I found playing the dark side and the outrageously leathal guys at the very end. You have to engage in a little politics in the middle of the game, but I wish there was more to it (e.g. sending letters/spies/tributes to various leaders). I feel Might and Magic missed a great potential for a very interesting plot. It was fun while it lasted, but I didn't bother finishing the game.

Summary: Might and Magic 7 - Review
Review: The 7th installment of Might and Magic continues the TRUE RPG that Might and Magic was in the previous games. No the 3D grapics are not like the Newest programs, but for a good Role Playing game this is one of the better ones. No need to spend big dollars on a Pentium III, it plays fine on a Pentium 200, or AMD or Cyrix CPU. I personally prefer the first-person grapics of this type of game over the top down smaller characters in some other games. In this game you play as multiple characters, and can have others join your party, not a Single character as in some games. This game also has turn based play, which is prefered by previous players of the other Might and Magic games. IF you want total real time game play buy an ACTION game, RPG's in my opinion require turn-based play to be enjoyed properly. Total Action games might as well be played on CONSOLE machines(Playstation, N64,etc.) , otherwise you are not using any of the features available on a PC system. I hope 3DO continues to write games like Might and Magic 7.

Summary: Good game, but nothing new
Review: The best feature of this game, I agree with most, was the Arcomage mini-game. If they haven't already, 3Do should turn this into an actuall game. The option to choose between the light and dark path was nice, but the overall game was too much like MM6, without enough new features. The use of the invisibility spell makes it too easy, though, and I found myself almost done at level 20.

Summary: My version of the game of the year
Review: This is the best game I have ever played. Right when I played the game it became my new favorite. In story line I give it a 5 out of 5. You start out on an island for a contest that Lord Markham has put together. Graphics gets a 4.5 out of 5. The graphics are more like being into a live picture. The only thing I don't like about the graphics is you can't see your characters.
Overall this game is worth your precious time. BUY IT!!!!

Summary: Might and Magic VII is a good overall game
Review: This was my first RPG game for the computer, but I think it is great. The number of characters and items is wonderful. So is the amount of land space. Time moving between different areas can take a minute, though. If you buy this game I suggest getting the strategy guide for it.

Summary: Very fun if not innovative
Review: Yeah, Might and Magic 7 isn't that different then Might and Magic VI, but so what? MM6 was one of my most favorite games ever, and MM7 does a decent job of sustaining this formula. It may not be very different from its predessor, but it still is a fun and very addictive world to explore.
