Summary: This is really a good Game
Review: I have always had fun in Everquest. With the PC quests and meeting thousands of people every week it is just amazing. I have never really had a dull time. As you level up your horizon broadens as well. You can go to more challenging areas and take on new NPC quests. Sure there are some bad things like the unchanging NPC quests and hostile in town NPCs, but really it is quite fun. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that it is pay to play.

Summary: Just Try It
Review: I must confess that I spend 24 hrs a week playing this game. I stay up late into the night, and it is the first thing i do when i get up!!

however, the graphics arent anything special, i play it because i can interact with real people. However you will get frustrated because there are so many people playing it that you cant get where you want to go. I wouldnt recommend this game to anyone who doesnt have alot of spare time, you will find it cutting into the time that you have set away for other things. However i enjoy playing it. If you dont want to socialise may i reccomend Diablo II. The only thing i can say now is buy the basic game, its 10 bucks, the first month is free give it a shot, if you dont like it fine cancel your account, if you do like it then continue playing it get the expansions etc..

Summary: Classic Everquest for the die hard
Review: It consumes my thoughts both when I am awake and when I dream. However, why do I feel like I'm running in place and not getting anywhere? After the first 2 hours it all seems the same. I always think there will be something new but there never is. But I still play...

Summary: EVERQUEST BIGGEST GAME EVER!!!
Review: Have you been searching for years now looking for the perfect videogame that grows and adapts and gets better? Do you feel like all the games you've bought wouldn't add up to that game, and that you would sell them just for the perfect one?

Well then this one's your game, and if you follow the rules and pay just 12 dollars or so a month you get this awesome game. This game is like none ever thought of before, ok final fantasy and lord of the rings kinda remind you of it in some weird ways, but that's not it.

The game requirements are high, but you won't regret it and you should really get this trilogy from Amazon because of the cool deal their giving you, and not to mention me because I bought my game from them.

Now it is true that this game can totally drain your life away and become very addicting, but only if your someone who doesn't have a life and doesn't see the fine line between Everquest and your life. And if you've laughed at the review about how it drains your life away then please understand.

Everquest is a game that is fully interactive and the things you do cause series of events in the game, such as Durn STonebringer who found an ancient artifact called the armor of Innoruk and although Ebita now has the armor and took it away from Durn, he had already desimated Norath, on the Rodcet Nife server that is.

Now Durn was incredibly stratigic he had literally an army of ogres behind him and using that army he killed and raided everything in his path. We also had to go on a quest and to the Luclid moon and break a spell to kill Dern.

We still have no idea where Dern got the armor or if it's the same on other servers, but their are hundreds and hundreds of artifacts most of which we'll never even see. Oh, yeah I'm an erudite by the way. An erudite level 60 magician, who is well kind of secretive.

Well that's enough of that and well do you know that this game has over 2000 players on it at any given time, and that you can sail on boats to distant lands and setup a trade shop and work on a trade skill and have your own private business, I'm a jeweler myself. I make magical rings in a town, I won't say which one becuase i'm very paranoid since my village was destroyed by Dern.

I'm on my way to visit Ebita and the armor which Ebita is in possession of. I've also been researching which is one of the things that is truly unique to Everquest, which is only one more reason to just buy this trilogy from Amazon right now.

I don't have the Luclid exspansion, but I hear good things about it, unfortunately half my Erudite guild is training on Luclid. Their trying to meditate to a higher being or gain power I don't know, but I've been researching a map for sometime now about an ancient artifact of possibly more power than the Armor of Innorauk, but ancient elven is a hard language to learn and they rant like idiots so it will be some time before I decipher it's writings.

Oh, well see you on the Rodcet Nife server, if you dare.

Summary: Gnomes are as annoying as going link dead
Review: Everquest is just a well thought out game. People complain about the difficulty of soloing--omfg--its a massive multiplayer game, if you pay to be with thousands of other people why would you want to solo. Go play final fantasy or something if your some 11 year old kid who hasnt learned social interaction. Grouping is the core of EQ, how fun would it be if you could go kill a dragon in 2 hits by your self. And people complaining about the lvles being to long - I gained a lvl atleast every 6 or 7 hours untill about lvl 38. All the spells and abilities are balanced between the classes in a way no game b4 EQ really did as well. Anyway this game isnt for everyone, but it is for most people, i mean i like counter-strike and ghost recon so even if you play fast action games EQ will still be fun for you.

Review: First the bad ... to play this game with full graphics, sound, etc. requires serious upgrades in your computer. I personally spent over $300 in RAM and a top of the line graphics card! So much for [the price of this game]... The only other fault I have found is that this game is *extremely* addictive. Seriously. You are warned!
But what that means is that for the over 400,000 regular subscribers (says sony), this game is *fun* to play. The social aspect of this game is the phenomenon! I am older and have found many many others who play are as well (25-55, married with kids, etc.) This gives EQ a different feel (it is amusing to hear people in my guild talk about being able to play now that their child has gone to bed!) So out of every 1 grumpy, unhelpful player I have met easily 10 who are "smiling;)" and generous. These are the game's strength and what fertilizes my addiction. No rules guiding who you can become or how to play your character, the skills you use are the skills you get better at (such as brewing, tailoring and smithing). To me, this is the essence of role-playing.

Summary: Great game
Review: ...I have been playing this game for 2 years and I'm still as addicted as the first day...I run on a 450 MHz 320 RAM 12.6 GB and 56k and i barely ever get lag or go link dead. I tried DAoC when it came out, and ya know what? It [stinks]. Don't buy it. It's fun for the first 5 hours, then once ya get to lvl 5 ya gotta go traveling all over just to find something to fight. in EQ i can hunt from lvls 1-14 in Misty Thicket with ease.

Summary: This game blows.
Review: It's amazing me to find a lot of 5 or 4 star reviews, it makes me wonder if people enjoy being pushed around. Though it is also interesting to note that Everquest gets more 1 and 2 star reviews on a consistent basis than almost any other game.

Simply put, the game designers had them making money in mind when making this game, not your fun in mind. It seems everything set in place is there to keep you from reaching your goal, and thus, spending more time with the game than should be legally allowed. To top it off, the game developers have put in some ridiculous rules in place so the 'gms'(aka, ops) could harass you. So you pretty much are paying 40 bucks, then 10 bucks a month, so that the game can bully you. What Fun!

This game is fun to about level 10, then forget about it, and ask anyone, the higher the level, the better it don't get. You basically keep playing because you assume things will get better, but they never do. Plus the emphasis on socializing with the other players means the game makes sure you CAN'T go further in the game without 'grouping'.

The game, in short, takes great thrill in annoying you, rather than having a fun game, where you can level up and gain weapons quickly(ala Phantasy Star Online) that keeps you coming back because it's FUN, you instead come back because you have this sick desire to spend a few weeks to go up ONE LEVEL, so that you can start the mundane process all over again. And I would still be playing PSO if not for the unfortunate loss of my key code. So please please please game developers, don't do as Everquest do! Don't make rpgs the realm of monotany!! We'll keep coming back if you focus on making a game fun! HONEST! :(

Summary: Awesome
Review: First I would like to address all the reviewers that said this game is horrible. This game is the best and most addictive game I have ever played in my life. The reviewers who gave bad ratings obviously have the patience of a two year old and demand immediate results. The playability is great. The game is easy to learn and if you are having problems there is always someone who will stop and help you. Most players are friendly and helpful. There are so many different ways to play and places to go that I can't see myself ever getting bored with this game. You can do everything from getting drunk with your online pals to taking out legendary dragons. To all you potential buyers I advise you to buy this game. It was great to begin with and just gets better with every expansion.

Summary: EVERQUEST
Review: 'Nuff said. Actually if you have any life left you wish to save do not buy this game. If you do you will do nothing but play it from now until the day you die, this isn't your average game once your hooked you can kiss your friends good bye (unless they too connect to everquest!!)
