Summary: very addictive!!!
Review: I bought Lord of Destruction about a month or so after I bought Diablo 2. I must say, it is outstanding. I just couldn't pull myself away from my computer and into my bed to sleep because it is so much fun. The online feature is my favorite thing about this game, even though you can still play online without the expansion. Online, the game is still the same, you can just play it with other people and their characters and interact with them. It makes it so much more fun.
You could origionaly choose from Necromancer, Paladin, Sorceress, Barabarian, or Amazon for a character class in Diablo 2.
The Lord of Destruction expansion adds two very cool characters. The Assassin and the Druid. All the characters have different strong points to them.
Then you go around talking with towns people at the different places you visit. Most of them ask you to go on journeys for them such as obtaining an item or killing a monster. After completing so many missions, you can go to another town/city. You're ultimate goal is to kill Diablo himself. Lord of Destruction adds one more level to the game. After you kill Diablo which would be the end of the normal Diablo 2 game, you go to yet another place to kill Diablo's brother, Baal.
I recommend this game to RPG fans and Dungeons and Dragons fans. This game is very addicive and I can't wait for another Diablo game to be released.

Summary: please...
Review: This is beyond words...adds more idiocy to an already stupid thing, like vomiting on a rotting turkey, and then selling pictures of the abomination for a high price. For Blizzard to add more content to something to an item so evil, having convinced thousands that is was worthwile, that it will scathe you, is pure insanity. It makes Charles Manson look like a savior(speaking of which, joining The Family is a smarter descion than buying ANY Diablo game.)

Summary: Yowch this is HARD!
Review: Ok, if you're not a mean mother when you fought Diablo, dont even think about moving on to this expansion pack. Act 5 is by far really the toughest level. Many of the creatures you fight are about as tough as some of the bosses you fought in the previous acts. Really rough. I liked having some closure though to Act 4 which really opened things up for Diablo III, now I'm not sure how they'll go through with it.... seeing how everything ended. NO I'm NOT GIVING AWAY THE ENDING! You'll have to beat the end creature in order to see the new ending.

Way to go Blizzard! This is the best expansion pack I've ever bought for a game!

Summary: A REAL addition
Review: This was abbosutly amazing and i loved it. I could have more fun than with diablo 2 because you get much better items and assisians are so fun. you can do martial arts with them too. I love this game.

Summary: Quick Paced -- Easy to Learn
Review: This is the kind of game you can play half an hour chunks of time to blow off steam or just relax. You begin every new session in town, but "way points" allow you to zip to your personal "new frontier" of exploration and continue hacking away. Two characters depend on large groups of conjured up characters to assist in battle. The other 4 fight on their own or with one or two assistants. I have always found there is enough money and resources to keep going. If my character isn't strong enough there are enough side dungeons to beef them up before plunging ahead again.

Very playable, with a minimal amount of key strokes required and not too much NPC (non-player-character) dialogue slowing things down. One of the few games that doesn't require a huge investment of time to learn before you can start enjoying.

Summary: Lots of fun! Spice, variety, magical and rare items! YAY!
Review: I love Diablo II. I really do. But, you know, I get bored with the actual activity of playing because it involves a great deal of clicking a mouse pointer on a little animated sprite. But the music, scenery, special effects, ambience, and the character development parts of the game are totally cool -- and that's what this expansion does. It gives you more character types to play with, more/different items, and so on. It puts spice and variety back into the game, just when you thought you'd put it back on the shelf and play Dungeon Siege instead. I highly recommend this expansion. It's definitely worth the money!

Summary: A Great Expansion
Review: I picked up Lord Of Destruction after having finally overcome a few months' addiction to Diablo II. This pack got me addicted all over again. Lots of new items revitalized the online (Battle.net) economy. The new classes are fun (although the Druid gets a raw deal, the assassin is great.) The added space is good for a pack rat like me. The new act has nice rewards, and while the plot is, as usual, forgettable, Diablo isn't a game many people by for the plot anyway. This expansion adds lots of fun to the original Diablo II, even if you are like me and played it to death. Also, I've noticed a slight improvement in the general disposition of the online community, from "ultra-greedy" to "greedy, but some of them will help you out." Every Diablo fan needs this expansion pack.
