Summary: Ya like it ya don't
Review: Well when I first played this game I thougt the graphics looked amazing. It has great potential and it has many pros and cons.

The pros of this game are:

Great graphics/ Good sound/ A fun game to play/ Good online gaming/

The cons of this game are:

Takes ages to teach villagers and creatures/ Complicated controls/ Takes really long to get levels done/

Overall I very much liked this game and would definitely recommend it

Summary: Hype Hype Hype
Review: This game has been over-hyped. It is boring, repetitive, cumbersome and uninvolving.

Basically the game is a very very simple resource management game (imagine The Settlers for 6 year olds) with a stupid (but nicely animiated) creature waddling around in it.

It is also excessively slow when loading or saving - though the much reported patch may address this. You also cannot turn off the annoying cute god/devil characters, and have to go through the long-winded tutorial if you need to restart the game.

What the people who have given this dross 4-5 stars have been playing I do not know. I regret buying the hype and buying the game.

Summary: the good / the bad
Review: It is a fantastic game and a great idea. I have a blast playing. That is until it locks up. There is a patch that has been in the making for months. Each time it is scheduled to appear, they delay it. the game is almost usless without the patch.

I would NOT have bought this game if someone would have told me this. I would have waited. I want to get the word out that they have made a great game, but they were not prepaired to sell it. Yet they DID sell it.

Summary: good or not?
Review: this is a good game but it has bad controls and takes a long time to get good and going

Summary: Great Fun, but...
Review: B & W is rated TEEN and the humour in this game is right on target. It has flatuating creatures that poop in inappropiate locations and must be slapped silly in order to be housebroken. The game takes a great deal of time to play and may be need some trimming. BW demands tremendous computer horsepower. I would suggest more than 1 ghz processor with 256 RAM and plenty of space on your hard drive, too. Some of the puzzles in the game become annoying and you might feel like throwing a villager all over EDEN. The learning phase is mandatory and I grew impatient with it. Control with your mouse can break your hand, so learn the keyboard shortcuts. The keyboard will greatly improve your game. It can get very tedious helping the villages expand and taking care of your creature while being harassed by the other gods. None the less, the game is enjoyable and worth getting.

Summary: A Great Game
Review: This is a very good PC game. It has 1 or 2 bugs but not that many. Overall this is a very good game. I would highly recomend it to anyone who is interesting in buying it. It is not buggy. Very good in fact. Get this game. Me and my friends play it at each others houses and we all love it.

Summary: Hah....my villagers are working and dyin' for me
Review: This is one of the best games I have ever played. When people ask me "What kind of a game is it" all I can say is "You have to play to find that out". It has some 'settler-ish' elements, but as you develop your character in the game it becomes clear that it is much more than that.

Summary: Original but demanding
Review: The game is original and uniquely versatile. It lets you do what you a lot with the villages inside your influence. It hones your parenting abilities when you train your creature. If the routine bores you, it lets you play various puzzles on the side that help your overall game.

BUT the game has issues: -A severe problem I encountered was BUGS - I had to reboot so many times it became irritating, and within the game things did not always work as advertised. -Another issue is TIME - to complete the campaign, be ready to spend weeks. -As many have mentioned, it is difficult to make villages and the creature self-sustaining, so you need to MICROMANAGE quite a bit. -Finally, my creature proved only marginally useful though I spent a great deal of time training and teaching it.

OVERALL VERDICT: The game is promising but it needs rebalancing and more development. Wait for Black & White II or III before you play.

Summary: It's good, then again, it really isn't.
Review: This game has many things other games don't have. Great graphics, very good AI, and pretty interesting, new type of gameplay. But(There is always a but)the game gets a little frustrating, and to complex for some(If this is you, don't worry, cuz it is me too). When you are trying to do one thing, something else happens, and then when you try to handle that, something else always happens, and it just keeps happening! Don't get me wrong, I think the game is good, but don't buy it unless you really want to try something new, and can control many things. Otherwise, just buy a fun FPS :)
