Summary: Ummmm, no.
Review: What the hell was going on when you people did this!?!?! The only bit of help I got was in those few sections, where it's not exactly clear where you need to go next (i.e. City of the Ancients, Disc 2), and to help beginers with materia junctioning. And I am missing 2 and only 2 of the Enemy Skills, no thanks to the guide, which only gives you about 10. If you want secrets, hop online kiddiesm cuz this was just no good at all. I'm not even sure if it listed anything about thar damned, locked treasure in the man house in Kalm. Also, no 1/35 soldiers...I have 3! Where are the others? Save your money for something good.

Summary: Great game---but . . ..
Review: No doubt about it, FF7 is a great game. Awesome graphics, cool story, very well-thought out.

So why'd I take it back?

Because I am not a big fan of swearing. If you don't want a game that swears at you every ten minutes, DO NOT GET THIS GAME. If swearing doesn't bother you, go ahead----you won't regret it.

Summary: An epic storyline, but lacking good gameplay.
Review: As we approach a new era in video game technology and originality, we always strive to look for the game that has all the stuff we want; story, graphics, music, and gameplay. This is what most Final Fantasy games lack, this unique aspect of what makes a game great. Final Fantasy 7 is a game that surpasses most games with its epic storyline, music, and movie like feel. Your basic game has just been juiced up. However, while playing this game, I felt like I was just playing a big interactive movie rather than actually playing a game. I must admit I am a big Zelda fan and I might have been spoiled off that, but speaking that Zelda has ALWAYS sold in record numbers, really speaks words on what people want today. Final Fantasy 7 had a good storyline, great battles, and awesome graphics, but without the gameplay (the little mini-games didn't cut it)this game was a bummer. But I did enjoy the story, but this should have been put on the big screen rather than in peoples hands.

Summary: I PLAYED THIS GAME TOO MUCH!
Review: Final Fantasy 7 is definitly a good game. i should know, being the game freak that i am. I play comp. games so much, that i beat this game 11, count em, 11 times. i've gone through every nook and cranny in this game. ive beat ALL the weapon monsters (Ruby(hardest boss in the game)emerald, diamond and ultimate) and collected 3mastermagics/3mastersummons/3mastercommands. Trust me. I know a lot about this game. After that long, i am still hooked to it, even though i'm workin on ff8 right now. You want to know what i think? i saw this game, and i was hooked from the start. GET IT and you become as much of a game freak as me! :)

Summary: A landmark game...
Review: Stunning. Simply stunning. FF7 is a gaming icon.

What's there to like? A lot. For a start, the setting, a world where magic and technology exist on an equal footing and which features some of the best settings yet and a truly epic world. The storyline is excellent, putting many other games, movies and even novels in the shade. The game has a knack for setting you up so you think you've got the situation sussed, then shaking things up radically. The characters are sympathetic, even most of the villains, and there's more to all of them that meets the eye.

The game system is heavily biased towards combat, which is all right, since it does it so well. With sweeping camera angles and beautiful SPFX, you want to get that new spell or summonned monster as much for the wonderful effects as the effect it has. The summoned monsters in particular warrant a mention, mainly because they're so wonderfully over the top in the best tradition of anime, including a huge steampunk thing that surges out of the ground and blasts the enemy and a dragon which appears in orbit and fires an energy beam powerful enough to flatten a mountain at your enemies.

Bad points...a few but nothing which really spoils it. Genuinelly challenging fights are few, most notably in the mid part of the game, the menu system is cumbersome (not changed much from the console, it seems) and the character graphics can be a bit crude out of combat (close up, they look like they're made of Lego) But nothing serious. Buy this, if you haven't already. You won't regret it.

Summary: GOOD GOD! WHAT A WONDERFUL GAME!
Review: When I first installed the game I was ready to see some playstation all over the place. Boy oh boy was I wrong! As I got farther in the game I felt as though I was there talking with the charecters, and with battles! God, I've never seen an rpg fighting situation/layout so well put together before in my life! Whether I was casting Cure 3 or letting loose the fury of Knights of the Round I was dazzled and amazed by it's effects! I must say that Final Fantasy 7 is by far the best game/rpg ever!

Review: THIS GAME RULES! Buy it now then come back and read these reviews! GO BUY IT! If you havent bought it yet... BUY IT! I don't know why but I have 2 favorite things in this game that make it better than even FF8. The first is Red XIII. He is the coolest character! He is like a lion type thing and he is smart too! The second thing is Bahmut. Bahmut is in FF8 but the FF7 bahmuts are better. Oh and one more thing FF7 has a wider variety of enemies over FF8.

An estimated:

FF7 monsters: 90

FF8 monsters: 40

Oh and by the way... you guessed it (or not) but BUY IT!
