Rating: Summary: Final Fantasy VII -- A Breathtaking Adventure Review: Sure we have some of the newer Final Fantasys out, such as Final Fantasy X-2 with it's amazing graphics and the internet playable Final Fantasy XI ... But there will perhaps never be a Final Fantasy quite like Final Fantasy VII. It is an amazing and breathtaking adventure, in a huge world that is quite beautiful. It has the most deeply involved and touching story of the series, which has not been matched by any of the other Final Fantasys. Not to mention it featured videogame history's most badass villian, Sephiroth. Final Fantasy VII was the first 3D Final Fantasy, one of the first 3D RPGs, and the first PS game to use more than 2 CDs. In this world of better looking games and newer Final Fantasys, Final Fantasy VII is definitely a must-have for any videogame collection or Final Fantasy collection!
Rating: Summary: Finally, you can play the greatest game ever on your PC!!!! Review: FF 7 has always been my favorite game in the whole world, in fact, it is my whole world. I play it everyday, but I was always sad, because I had to leave the playstation to go on the internet to read about and discuss FF 7. But not anymore! Now, FF 7 is out on the PC, and you have to buy it at any cost, so that you can laugh and cry and live the greatest experience of all time, the experience that is Final Fantasy 7, on your computer! Just thinking about it is making me tear up a little. I promise, you will not be disappointed. The stunning, gut-wrenching visuals, the passionate, heart-wrenching storyline, the exciting, robust combat system, the absolutely awe-inspiring characters...nothing could be more perfect. You have not lived if you have not played this game.
Rating: Summary: "Final Fantasy Seven" Is it possible to get any better? No! Review: What makes a game great? What is it that makes a game fun? Well there are certain things that just bring all these things togather. Final Fantasy 7 is one of those games that just brings it all in and just lets you notice the greatness. Final Fantasy 7 has all the basic charecteristics of a good RPG. The story line is in depth and has twist after twist that you were never expecting. Final Fantasy 7 also creates an atmosphere that captivates you and just expresses the feeling of that certain town or that area of the world. Also Final Fantasy 7's charecters are unique and different in almost all their ways. Each one of them has their own past and personal experiences. This also includes their own personal sacrifices and charecter flaws (I mean come on lets face it not even heros are perfect in every aspect.) And now for the grand finale, Sephiroth! The sweetest bad guy in the entire gaming world. Don't want to ruin anything but you hate him when Aries dies but when he's walking through the fire at Nibelheim you have to respect him. All these aspects just make you want to replay the game over and over again and when you're playing it for the first time you just never want to put it down. Buy it you'll love it!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Best game ever Review: This game is the best i ever played. The story it self is amazing.i played this game a quite few times allready but i'll play it again soon, i promise:)
Rating: Summary: Great game Review: Mine's the regular pc version, so some of the problems may be fixed, but the story and gameplay should still be good. I didn't install and play this for a few months after I got it. Once I got enough into the gameplay to get some understanding of the story and characters, I wished I'd started it sooner. Very detailed rooms you could actually see someone living in, nice music, some original minigames. I loved the bike ride one, or maybe just its music. You start in the middle of an attack-in-progress and get story and instructions as you go. Nice dark and more mature theme without being overbearing about it, kind of like Zelda for a slightly older crowd. Keep in mind that this was the first FF on the PS, and obviously won't be like FFX graphically.Problems: Badly and cheesily translated in some spots, camera needs some work and can make for hilarious screenshots, and alt-tabbing out causes a flickering bar on the bottom until you go to another walking area. If you use the PS version guide there are some noticeable differences in special item uses and presence of certain things. If you alt-tab out during a movie it will skip the entire FMV, and there are a few good ones you won't want to miss. Will monopolize your midi and wav output while being used - music usually continues at the windows screen (and very loudly) while alt-tabbed out, and hard to kill with ctrl-alt-del on the (very rare) occasion of freezing. These aren't really a problem unless you have a really temperamental system, and some of these may not happen if you're using a 3d card. It didn't stop me from having a great time using Typhoon and KOTR on things. Advantages as a PC version: Renders very well by software, no 3d card required. I don't have a 3d card yet, it may improve or mess up the graphics. A player of the PS version watched and said it rendered a lot better on pc, faster loading and faster in general. Apparently has some minor story scenes not found in the PS version, though it's possible these players simply never returned to those trigger points. You can view the movie files directly off the disks too, and learn a little about how some of those playing area scenes were put together. Best feature - lets you save on the equivalent of about 14 save cards, which is good if you have a lot of players or you like having save files dedicated to right before a game event, like the end of disk movies. For added fun, once you finish the game there are also unofficial save file editors and patches that let you mess with the game a bit at the risk of ruining the changed files.
Rating: Summary: Better for the PSX!! Review: This is THE best Final Fantasy of all time (IMHO, hehe), but I absolutely *destested* this on the PC. Ick. Yuk. Ick. The controls are sucky. The graphics aren't as interesting. Yes, they got worse than they already kinda were. LOL Everything's just slightly off on the PC version. Sorry guys. Back off Eidos.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST RPG EVER CREATED!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!! Review: I love the way they show the battles! Raising chocobos is so fun! The only thing is trying to get a gold chocobo( can go anywhere on the map), it is so hard. You can also race the chocobos you raise at the gold saucer. Great characters(Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aeris, RedX, Vincent, Cait Sith, Yuffie, and Cid)! There are a lot of sidequests in this game that make this game really fun. I would recommend this game to most gamers. It is worth the price. When I got it for my birthday I didn't know how to play it that well and I didn't think I would like it this much today. Like I said: BEST RPG EVER CREATED!!!!SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Rating: Summary: The Rulers of Fantasy Review: Many people have played this game and learned to love it. This game is probably in my opinion one of the greatest FF's in the series. This takes place in a time where Energy is being sucked from the planet to power cars and other things. Of course there is a rebel group against this because what happens when all the Mako Energy is gone from the planet? The Earth will be destroyed. So when a Ex- Soldier joins the group for profit he fights for justice when all he did want was money. Cloud ( Ex- Soldier) learns of his past and what he is. In my opinion this is a 999999999999 star. Anyone will love this!
