Summary: 2 Great Games for an even better price
Review: I don't want to write a long drawn out review so I'll get straight to the point. These are 2 great RPGs, and for this price it's almost like stealing. They have a very good battle system and a good plot line that draws you in. The only problem with this is that the graphics are bad to todays standards. But as I have always thought graphics dont make a game (usually), so buy this now.

Summary: So......good.....and.......cheap
Review: Ok, I bought both of these games when they came out, both were masterpieces and the only true RPG I had seen for a long time. You could have NPC's fight beside you, and the plot changes so much from the first quest in both games it's impossible to predict until the end. Plus, the system requirements are almost non-existent as long as you actually own a computer, you can probably play Fallout. Right beside riveting violence and mutants and viruses in the storyline, both games were really FUNNY! How could a gamer ask for more? So many side quests for you to go to and things to discover after you actually beat the game that possiblites are unlimited. (I don't want to give anything away, but finding the manual in the game is pretty cool at the end)And now, you can own BOTH for just 9.99! If I didn't have so much fun for years i'd feel very jipped now. BUY NOW! If you are a gamer who does not have these games you have been deprived! If you just work in an office, then you're boring and should play this to brighten up your computer life with some M-rated fun! Just click order now and stop reading this!

Summary: the thinking mans rpg's
Review: Fallout 1 and two are the best computer role playing games ever made. The only dissapointment in them is that their is not a third yet. Fallout 1 has a great storyline and about a thousand things you can do, each in a thousand different ways. You play in a war ravaged norther california wasteland. Your mission is to find a water chip before the people in your vault (bassically a huge, self-contained bomb shelter) run out of water and die. Along the way you will find other missions, both side quests and world-altering epic journyes to attempt, such as stopping a mutant take-over. Fallout 2 is even better. You are a desendand of the character from the first game. Your tribal village needs a garden of eden creation kit (geck for short) to survive. Your journy takes you to california, only south of where the first game took place. You can do more in this one. Want to become a boxing champ? Try it. Want to become a mobster? You can do that, too. A pornstar? Sure enough! There are many new weapons in this one, as well as the chance to get a car. One of the neatest things is that in fallout 2, you will meet some people and get some references from the first game. So if you play the first one first, it will be a much more enjoyable experience. You can also continue playing after you beat it, unlike the first one. So you can complete the quests you missed and gain more levels. No adult computer game role player should be without these games!

Summary: wonderful game, not for kids though
Review: want to meet new people? want to handle weapons and get stronger, both mentally and physically? be all you can be get the fallout 1/2 bundle , now for a amazing price fallout 1 is a great game with its own unique story, but not so many extra secrets fallout 2 is...wow its better than fallout 1 in all but the storyline i think fallout is the only game where you can actually play over and over and never get tired of it until you die there are SO many different pathways to the end that I dont think 200 walkthroughs would explain them the game lets you be either good or evil, but not in a cartoony way like the BEST game of 2001 , Black and White want to get married and have a happy life with lots of money and friends? or do you want to kill children and animals and anyone else in your way and be a raging alcoholic? either way is possible in Fallout 2 get it today, before this bundle is not sold any more

PS : this game is NOT for kids at all it features blood and sexual situations and drug use not for immature kids who might wanna play with guns after playing this game... a great experience for immature adults though :)

Summary: Terrific and Addictive Gameplay Packs an Awesome Punch
Review: Fallout and Fallout II are both wonderfully addictive games that shouldn't let you down in any way. The stories are fun and exciting, the characters are interesting and you truly have the capabilities of developing a character based on your own preferences.

The top-down, slightly askew view is perfect for navigating around, the control layout is easily learned, (it does take a teeny bit of tinkering around to fully get the gist of it, but what game doesn't?), the cinematic dialogue scenes are well generated and the Role-Playing factor is creatively designed, yet easy to manage.

Those looking for fast-playing action games need to go somewhere else. The gameplay is great, but it's turn-based once the fighting begins, which means your reflexes need not apply. (Believe me, it's still a blast, even if you're not "fragging people.")

I played the two games in order, (which I recommend you do), and I must say that Fallout II definitely has more beef to it in every count, plus the developers managed to solve a few minor bugs that hassled us in the first game. That's not to say that the 1st Fallout isn't equally as fun. If nothing else, Fallout is a perfect way to train yourself for Fallout II. (Do you like watching the sequel to a movie before seeing the original itself? I didn't think so.)

One of the best things about these games is that there are a lot of randomly activated occurances in them. Weapons you find, people you bump into, places to explore. Yet they manage to keep things linear just enough so that you're not wandering around TOO much and not accomplishing anything.

I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic themes. I don't why, but I always find them exciting and adventurous, (and yes dark and gloomy in a certain way!) Fallout and Fallout II are hands-down the best PC games to conquer this realm. It'll be interesting to see what Fallout Tactics is like!...

Summary: Fun, but a little misleading
Review: Great game, involving and detailed. I found myself up at the wee hours of the night playing this game. Even had quite an itch to kill annoying innocents.

Fallout 2 is great.

Fallout 1....I don't know. I haven't played it. I bought this game because of the price and the compatibility with Windows 2000 advertised. But make no mistake, Fallout 1 is NOT supported by Windows 2000. So I guess that's 5 bucks down the drain.

Still, 10 bucks for even just Fallout 2 is a great deal.

Summary: Absolutely Wonderful Deal!!!!
Review: If you are into role-playing games, then you MUST own the fallout series! I played Fallout 1 and was captivated, but when I played Fallout 2, I was truly impressed and addicted. No other rpg even comes close to the fallout series. It is so realistic becuase you truly make all of the decisions on your own. The game doesn't lead you to what you should do or what to say; you have tons of various paths that you can take and people to befriend or make enemies of. There are no rules: whatever goes! It has everything that the real world has, except for mutants and monsters. You can be a villian and do drugs, sell slaves, have sex, and kill innocent people or be a hero and help everyone out and help clean out the various locations. This is the one game that you can actually play over and over and still experience different reactions and events and never get tired of it. It is truly captivating and highly recommended. The price that they have put on not only one, but both incredible games, is a deal that will be found nowhere else! If you pass this offer by, you will be truly regretful.

Review: Very good game, nice roleplaying, very smooth gameplay, excellent graphics and sound. I like this game very much, not as good as Diablo 2 however :\

Summary: This is Fallout.
Review: Best series I have ever played. Rivals Diablo II, Monkey Island, and all the greats. Intelligent game.

Summary: A must-have for any collection.
Review: Fallout, originally released in 1997 by Interplay, shook the world of computer roleplaying games. Quite simply, it redefined the structure of the computer RPG. Most CRPGs followed simple linear scripts: King Groo needs the Sword of Spork. So you go to the Cave of Fear to get it... et cetera, et cetera.

Fallout shattered all preconceptions about story progression. In Fallout, you can go where you want, do what you choose. Unlike other CRPGs, you don't spend your time playing "delivery boy" for other characters. There is a guiding storyline- an extremely good one- but how you accomplish your goals is entirely up to you. The plot will change and adapt based on your actions in-game- it's like a new story every time you play it.

Every obstacle in the game has numerous possible ways to surmount it. Need a nice gun from a local arms dealer, but can't afford it? Do the gun merchant a favor and he might let you have it. Sweet-talk him into giving you a discount. Or steal it when he's not looking. If all else fails, blow him away and take the loot from his steaming corpse. Fallout really IS that open-ended.

The possibilities for character creation are extremely broad also- instead of a rigid "race/class" system, you can create your character from an incredible range of Skills, Traits, and Perks. Want to talk your way out of problems? Give yourself a high Charisma and the "Good Natured" trait. Prefer more direct solutions? Put extra skill points in Big Guns, and pick the "Fast Shot" trait for extra stopping power. Or create "combination" characters- like a friendly doctor who just happens to be a crack shot with his .44 pistol.

While Fallout 2 doesn't break any really new ground, it is almost three times as long as the first Fallout and takes place in a much larger game world. It's more of the same, but better. Getting BOTH of these excellent games for one super-low price is an incredible bargain. If you like science fiction, or you like RPGs, buy this software. You absolutely will not regret it.
