Review: This game is just plain old terrible. It is just the intense no strategy rushfest found in starcraft. If you were a RoC player you WILL HATE this game. If you played starcraft and are just switching to WC then this game will be fine. There is just so much cheese about this game i cannot begin to list it.

Summary: Wonderful continuation of the series
Review: I'm going to keep this review brief. When WarCraft 3 first came out, I bought into some of the hype and picked up a Collector's Edition. At first, I was disappointed (I just spent 75$, that'll depress anyone), but a year later I went back and truly played the game through, and found it to be one of the best RTS I've seen around. The four races are distinct and have their own flavors, allowing for wonderful variety. At the same time, I picked up Frozen Throne at the recommendation of a friend, and I must say that it, like all other Blizzard expansions, enhances the original game by a lot more. A new, secondary race is nice, along with new units, spells, heros, abilities, and upgrades. The new campaigns are wonderful and truly moving, and all the campaigns equal the length of the original game. Multiplayer has been refined quite a bit, with nice new features and streamlining. Balance and unit issues are much nicer than in the original, and it is just fun. Like many of the other reviewers, I was also a beta tester for TFT, but right after I got accepted into the test, I was hit with a barrage of classwork, and never actually got around to testing it. I made up for this lack of play once I got the full game, and I am disappointed I didn't get a chance to try it out in April. Lastly, the guides are excellent, and the TFT guide is in full-color, which is quite nice when it comes to the full-page maps and strategies. Overall, this is a must buy for Strategy gamers, as the replayability, the great storyline, the multiplayer, the cinematics, and the customizability (ultra-extensive world-editor) will make this game a mainstay until StarCraft 2/WarCraft IV comes out. Let the good times roll.

Review: This game is awesome!! I bought the previous version, and it was excellent. When i got the expansion, i noticed they added some cool features, and new heroes. this game is definitely worth the money. The new campaigns are really fun too.

Summary: Absolutely fantastic game
Review: Blizzard has delivered again!! For an expansion, this is an incredible value! Each race has new units, new heros and new buildings to add to the mix. In the single player campaign, they've created a very complex storyline where you are using many more new and unique heros than those that are available in the multiplayer format -- and that aren't really advertised (Naga Witch, Undead Ranger, Dark Knight). You also get two additional races - the Naga and the Dranaei -- to play as well in the course of the single player campaign. There are some very challenging, very unique missions to go through -- makes for some great game play!! In addition to the single player storyline, there is a separate Orc campaign that shows off their world editor tools and some new features built into the game that make it a little more RPG-ish or maybe Diablo-ish. The normal rules for hero development aren't a factor here as your heroes gain experience (no level 10 cap) and new and different items (even different from the regular campaign items). The Orc campaign is in 3 Acts. The first one is on the disc and Blizzard will make available at a later date the other 2 acts for FREE. Way Cool Game -- especially the Neutral Hero Pandaran Brewmaster : ) This came out of an April Fool's page on Blizzard's website a few years back - its a riot!! I wish they had included more of Pandaran Empire. : D If you already have Warcraft III, get this expansion - you won't be dissapointed. If you're looking to buy a game, buy both of these for some intense and enjoyable gaming.

Review: I am not a game junkie like some. I just like to sit down and get into a great game that has a great story line and looks awesome. I don't need to be nit picky about every little thing.
I have played these series since the very first original Warcraft Orcs & Humans. I have enjoyed each game for hours and was impressed with each new release and expansion.
Then came Warcraft 3. I didn't like it at all. The look was pretty old school. Boxy characters, boring graphics, and difficult navigation.
Some may love this game. My step son plays networked games nonstop. I moved on to other games after only a few levels. I didn't get into this one at all.

OK NOW TO THE GAME THER ARE MORE THEN 2 RACES THER ARE THE UNDEAD AND THE NIGHT ELVS THER IS ALSOE WHAT THINGS THEY ARE GOOD AT. Summary: Tense and totally replayable
Review: The best thing about this expansion pack is that it has retooled the economy of WC3: Reign of Chaos, and has placed the four races on a much more balanced playing field. On top of which, the recently released Frozen Throne 1.12 patch makes a multitude of changes to the 1.07 version, furthering the equitability of this fine game. Building costs have been drastically reduced for starters. This leaves you with more money to spend on troops. The upkeep levels have been increased to 50/80/100 for no, low and high upkeep respectively. Larger armies hence play a larger role in the game. New heroes have been added, all of which are quite good, and modifications have been made to the attack and defence systems. For example, heroes now do 'hero' damage, which deals 100% damage to everything, except fortified buildings. Gryphon Riders, Frost Wyrms and Chimearas all do 'magic' damage, which is best against heavy armour (Orcs, Knights etc). These are just a couple of the many changes made to Reign of Chaos. Most, especially after you install the patch, you won't even notice. But combined they make the game much more exciting. The single player game is good, if not a little easy on normal, but that's okay. Play it on hard instead! But, the multiplayer, and I know every other person who has played Warcraft 3 says this... the multiplayer is gold! Pure gold baby! I never get sick of it. Even games against the computer are very good as well. The computer is a solid, thinking competitor and often gets the better of me, so it's always a race against the clock to get all aspects of your army up and running smoothly. If you've got Warcraft III, you must get this expansion. It improves what I already considered to be one of the best games I've ever played.

Summary: Different from Starcraft, but still an excellent buy!
Review: OK, so the biggest complaint I've heard is "it's so different from Starcraft" or "I like Starcraft more". It's true that if you're looking for a follow up to Starcraft, you're going to be a wee bit disappointed(Starcraft was a hard act to follow). But this game is still hands down, one of the best RTSs on the market. There are many in-game options that are vastly improved from Starcraft (or Warcraft 2, for that matter). You'd have to play it to know what I was talking about, but for example, when you build something, your resources are taken away from your total immediately, instead of when you start building it (can't tell you how annoying that was). And the Battle.net updates keep improving the gameplay. First player is awesome and has killer cut scenes. Multiplayer is where Warcraft 3 ROCKS! Battle.net has done a superb job in maximizing the options on online games including clans, quick games, arranged teams and much more. For long-time Blizzard users or if you just heard about Warcraft for the first tmie, you will thouroughly enjoy this game. I can't wait to get the expansion.
