Summary: Not much better that original
Review: Motorcycles are neat, but too easy to fall off of.
The music is better.
Graphics are too similar to the original.

There are not enough improvements to make this a great sequel.

Summary: Run people down to the dulcet sounds of Mr. Mister.
Review: For any gamer that grew up in the 80s watching Miami Vice this game is a complete hoot. Just about every 80s hit I can remember is contained in the soundtrack. Sometimes I drive around not wanting to exit the car because I can't wait to hear what other songs Rockstar was able to license.

And this game is MUCH funnier than the very dark GTA III. For one thing your character talks now--the silent thug you played in the first gave me the creeps. And they addressed the biggest headache of the first game: getting back to where you left off when you failed a mission. Now when you're busted or die a taxi conveniently appears to take you back to where you left off. Of course you can ignore the taxi and do it the old fashioned way. There's no in-game save so you'll still have to repeat missions, but the taxi cuts down the frustration factor by about 30% by effectively teleporting you to the salient location.

The one gripe I have is the controls for the helicopter. Why force the player to use a different set of keys? It's a pain. But this is a minor gripe compared to the bonus addition of flight the game offers. Overall the game is just a big bucket of (notably adult) fun. Other game companies and the movie industry should take notes from Rockstar on how to do a sequel right.

Summary: So Much to Do, So Much Time to Do It
Review: I don't even know where to begin to tell you about GTA: Vice City. Do I begin with telling you how great the graphics are? Or do I tell you how much stuff there is to do here? Or do I tell you how freakin' entertaining the whole thing is? There is so much to cover with this game that it would take me more than my 1,000 word limit to tell you everything, so you will have to settle for this:

I will break it down in categories.

GRAPHICS - The game is gorgeous. Remember how cool GTA3's Liberty City was? Well Vice City is better - and prettier. You've got the sun shining, you've got the beach, you've got beautiful blue water, and you've got bright city lights at night. Oh yeah, and palm trees. These graphics will make you wish you were in Miami.

SOUND/MUSIC - The game's sound is great. The music...well, I'm not a huge 80s music fan, so I could live without most of the radio stations. I loved how in GTA3 all of the music was original, and I loved every one of the stations. However, every time I get into a car in Vice City, I usually find myself changing the station to KChat or the public radio. But hey, if you love Michael Jackson, Bryan Adams, Run DMC or even Ozzy Osbourne, you're in luck because their songs are all featured in the game, along with a ton of others.

GAMEPLAY/REPLAYABILITY - So what do you feel like doing? Do you feel like making the big bucks? Then follow the blip on your radar to the nearest head mission. Do you want to make a small amount of cash but try for a record (and get rewards, as well)? Then you can choose from the following: Ambulance missions, fire truck missions and vigilante missions go a little way to help you redeem your bad self, while giving you some quick cash. Other things you can do is deliver pizzas, drive a taxi, and deliver "ice cream" (this is only after you purchase the Ice Cream factory). Plus, there are tons of Rampage missions scattered all over the city. Once you make enough cash, you can start purchasing different properties around the city, which is convenient because every place you purchase gives you an extra saving area (whereas GTA3 only had 3 - one in each part of the city). Another thing you can do to make some cash is to participate in assorted events at The Stadium. For anyone who wants to know how to do this, go to the stadium when the game clock is close to 20:00. When the clock reaches that time, the Stadium's doors will open up and when you enter the building, you are entered in whatever contest is going on that particular day. As for the main missions, there are a whole lot of them. I have noticed, at least so far, that these missions are a tad easier than the ones in GTA3. But I'm not complaining, since I never have finished GTA3 because I got so annoyed with it. Hopefully I will be able to finish this one, but I can guarantee that to get up to the full 100% is going to be mighty difficult, even if you finish all of the main missions. This is because there is just so much to do in this game. The replayability is extremely high, seeing as though the game is so open-ended. If you keep failing at a mission, you can just take some time off and do whatever your little bad boy heart pleases. This way, you can still play the game and accomplish stuff, even when you're stuck on the main story. And by the way, the game's cut scenes are some of the best I have ever seen - or heard. The "acting" is superb - maybe because they got a real actor (Ray Liotta) to do the voice of the main character.

Okay, so what am I forgetting? Probably a lot. I will submit my review and then something else will come to mind that I will feel I should have added. But I've gone on for too long, so I will just wrap it up by saying this: I was hesitant to spend the big bucks on this game; I figured I would wait a few months for the price to drop. I based this hesitation on the fact that I own GTA3 and am extremely annoyed with it. But I was in a money spending mood, so I bought it regardless. I am so glad I did. This game is worth every cent you have to pay for it. It will provide you with hours and hours of enjoyment, and you will most likely become an addict. I know I have. In fact, I'm surprised I was able to tear myself away from it long enough to write this review.

Summary: mixed bag
Review: Yes this is a great game. That being said, if you enjoyed GTA3 there isn't too much new here. There are some cool new things but all in all its all familiar. Personally I totally dislike the Miami-ish setting. It's flat and boring, much like Florida. Liberty City was far superior. If you have a fast computer and a killer 3d card you will love the graphics. On my XP 2.0 Ghz P4, 1Ghz RDRAM, and brand new ATI 9800 Pro 128MB video card the graphics are pretty stellar. The game itself has no real customizing options for graphics, but my card does, so I'm running 6x anti ali. and 16x antro. filtering at 1280x1224. Looks great. Can't wait for Doom 3 which will really put my system to the test. All in all, I recommend buying this game. Oh, and if you haven't played Max Payne, what the h are you waiting for?

Summary: What Else can be said about such a famous, great, game?
Review: You've undoubtly heard of the Grand Theft Series. You also can't deny you've seen reports complaning of it's extreme, yet cartoony violence. Hopefully, you've also at some time seen it in spectacular action. So, what else can be said of the game that even Time Magazine called a,"Work Of Art"?
Not Much, except that anyone who hasn't played it etiher dosen't own a Playstaion or PC, or is probally crazy. That, or a conservative politaican.
This game is fun, full of amazingly good stroytelling, and just really never ends. So, What the Heck are you waiting for, buy it, rent it, whatever. Just Play It!

Summary: Question?
Review: I know that the minimum of the game is a GeForce but has anybody played VC with a GeForce 2? Does it still operate smoothly with a GeForce 2? Just post below if you have an answer for me. Thanks

Summary: Buggy with almost no documentation
Review: Don't get me wrong - This if a fun game but there are two HUGE problems with it.
1. It's buggy, my XP system handles all my other games fine, but for some reason, this Vice City game gets it to freeze up every couple of hours of play.
2. The included documentation is a joke. I haven't been able to figure out all the controls yet, much less what some of the in game features are. I should not have to visit fan websites to learn how to play the game.

Summary: The Greatest Game Ever
Review: GTA 3 vice city is a combination of all the best things about videogames. The story is interesting, the missions are challenging and often hilarious and the action is intense. It is hard to be bored while playing a game with such excellent graphics and the best soundtrack in the history of videogames. You can spend endless hours moving up in the criminal world, or just roam vice city in a huge selection of cars causing mayhem. This has got to be my favorite game of all time.

Summary: Doesn't get any better then this
Review: What can I say? This game is just plain unbelievable. It fills in practically everything the original Grand Theft Auto 3 lacked. Motorcycles, more buildings to go into, new weapons, new cars, AWESOME music, and you can even buy your own hide-outs and assets (assets are businesses). The amazing part about this game is that it doesn't get boring. Okay, well if you play it for 5 hours straight, it will become boring, but if you take a 30 minute break, you'll already feel the urge to want to play again. The only conclusion I can make is that the publisher put an addictive chemicle into the game ;-)

Motorcycles are extremely fun to drive. There are 4 different types of motorcycles; First is a mopez (those motorcycles that have a seat and a lot of legspace, basically a newbie bike), second is a dirtbike, third is a harley davidson style bike, and finally, the best of all the bikes is the Kawasaki style sports bike.

As for the missions, they are very fun. There are ALL types of missions. There's the regular 'kill this guy' mission, and then there's those fun street races, and don't forget the RC missions (driving a mini helicopter and blowing stuff up with it).

Helicopters are actually drivable in this game! There are a whole bunch of them. There's the normal one called a maverick (no guns), there's a police maverick (has guns), there's that tiny news chopper (no guns of course), there's a chopper thats landable on water, and finally, if you can manage to get ALL 100 Hidden packages, there's the Hunter, which is an Apache. It has 2 missle launchers and a magine gun. How cool is that?

There are a lot more boats in vice city as well. They range from big yachts to those inflatable ones that the navy seals use. Pretty cool, very fun.

I hope you guys find this review useful. Take2 Interactive Software did a great job on Vice City. This game is certainly the game of the year, because it combines all different game genre's. GET THIS GAME! GO! STOP READING THIS! HURRY UP, BEFORE ITS TOO LATE! =)

Summary: Caution: Extreem Addiction May Occur
Review: I got this game today and i love it. I already had the ps2 version, but was frusterated with the controls, as it was difficult to aim without using auto aim. The computer version is MUCH easier to control, its like a whole new game. Also, the radio is slightly changed and some missions are different. It runs very fast and smooth on my computer, which has 128mb graphics and 768 ram with a 1.8 ghz so if you have a modern computer, it should run fast. When i began playing, i thought i would just play it for a half our or so. Four hours later, i realized just how addictive this game is.
