Summary: THIS GAME IS ABSOLOUTLY AMAZING!!!!!
Review: i got this game for my birthday and it was completely amazing!!
There is just so much to do on it plus if ever you get bored with a mission you can try and complete a getaway with a five star wanted level. My favourite thing about this game is that you have to earn money then buy lots of places such as mansions, factories and loads of other cool stuff and once you buy them you can do more missions. The only downside for this game is that it is highly addictive.
Overall a very exiting game.

Summary: This is what I wish GTA3 would have been
Review: When I heard Vice City was coming out, I was ecstatic, I loved GTA3. Then I heard the bad news: it was only going to be available on the PS2.

I was devastated. I didn't have a PS2, and I didn't really want to buy one for one game. I figured I would wait and see if perhaps Rockstar would change their mind and put it out for the rest of us. When they did, I bought it the first day it was out, hoping for more of what I loved in GTA3.

Vice City didn't disappoint. In addition to having freedom over what you did, it included new vehicles, like a moped, motorcycles, and helicopters. You could fly all over the city, taking in the scenery, or use a motorcycle to get where you were going faster.

I like the idea of being able to purchase property and do missions with it, it meant I wasn't so dependant on the storyline missions. I could purchase the ice cream factory and run around the neighborhoods selling drugged up ice cream. I could practice my boat driving skills with "Checkpoint Charlie" and if I did well enough, I'd even see a little money for my trouble, every day. And, if there was a business with a mission I couldn't pass, I could skip it, and come back to it later, if I wanted to. I didn't have to worry about it holding up my storyline, like it could in GTA3.

I liked how Rockstar added things to Vice City. You can repeat failed rampages, which I love. Not being able to repeat them always bothered me before, especially if I'd been really close to getting them done. They also added in a better radio station system, with music I remember from when I was a kid in the 80s. And, they added in two talk radio stations, which I always preferred to the music stations.

Vice City feels to me like it's less violent than GTA3 was, but it still earns its mature rating. There's a lot of blood, and you have rival gangs taking each other out, not just people coming after you. There's still the ability to kill cops, pick up hookers (although there's less of them), and run people down on a car, so people who want violence won't be disappointed.

One thing I thought was a really nice touch with this game is Rockstar's ability to tie in GTA3 and Vice City. You meet Donald Love when he's young, see what happened to Laslow before he hosted chatterbox, and Freddy, who needed a nanny even pops up. If you spent time listening to GTA3's radio stations, you'll enjoy the characters that pop up again in Vice City/

Summary: Amazing game.
Review: What a SEQUEL! This is an amazing game. The story is fantastic and the game play will keep you going for over a year. I have played this on and off since it was released and still go back to it. How many games can say that? This is one PS2 game that is well worth the money. If you have a PS2 then you must own Vice City. It is as simple as that.

Summary: The Don of Gangster Games!
Review: Miami, the 80's, gangsters, high-speed car chases, helicopters and speed boats. What more could you want? Well, all of that together in one package and much much more. Which is what you get in GTA Vice City.

This game is essentialy a prequal to GTA3, set in the 80's with a younger Tommy Vercetti. Without giving the game away, Tommy is sent to Vice City for....shall we say....an exchange, but is set up and lost in the city. This is where you have to guide Tommy through the city to make a living, albiet a dirty one, by helping out some freinds and ruining the lives of the local gangsters. On top of that, there are also lots of mini-games that you can play even after you've completed the game itself. Thats right...Vice City dosn't have an actual ending (but does show end credits halfway through the game, which is a bit odd). Only the endings of various missions and games of within.

There's a greater variety of vehicles on land, in water and in the air. You can also walk, but given the sheer size of the city, I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry. Only one problem with the traveling: the faster cars at top speed reach their destinations too quickly for the scenery to load. So you can go from Little Haiti to Downtown, reach Downtown a few seconds before the windows and doors appear on the buildings.

Just for once, they havn't overdone the 80's theme. Instead they have given Vice City a look that it genuinely would have had in the 80's. The radio stations actualy sound as if they're in the 80's, instead of just an '80's hits compilation' with talking. The fashions are about right too.

If you're not doing buisness at any point, you can take your time and stroll around the city and get a good look at the place. You'll be suprised at what you can find when you look around. The enclosed map and tourist guide are vital for the game. Without them, newcomers will get lost and not have a clue where to go. I speak from experience. Watch those pedestrians too, they're a real bad tempered bunch.

A must for any self respecting car chase or gangster game lover. 10/10

Summary: Excellent Game
Review: This is the first Grand Theft Auto title I've played since the original came out several years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed the original, so when my fiance got this version for his birthday I stole it and started playing it myself. :D The first several missions are great - they're easy enough to beat without a lot of trouble, while giving you time to get used to the controls. The storyline is a lot of fun, the graphics are really well done, everything is fun! My only complaint is that some of the missions are extremely hard for me, as I am not used to playing games like this. I have been stuck on this one RC helicopter mission for weeks now! I wish they had a built in cheat to stop the mission timer, because I am fed up with that mission and just want to get it over with. I can't complain too much about that, it's just my crappy game skillz. ;) I give this game 5 stars, because the bottom line for all games is that they need to be FUN - and this one definitely is!

Summary: The best single player game that has ever been made!!
Review: There is no way I can really tell you how good this game is. No matter how old you are you will love this game. My seven year old couson came and started playing it non-stop for four hours. She didnt want to leave and her parents had to drag her out. My 35 year old uncle did the same except his parents didnt exactly drag him out. This game gets a 10/10 in every category. It has excelent graphics with an entertaining storyline. You can continue the story or just drive through vice city getting as much wanted stars as you can. I have never played a game so fun and addictive. There are loads of things to do and you will always be coming back for more.
get this game.
do whatever it takes, even if it means dressing up as a begger hoping to get a penny or two. If you do get a penny, you will be a penny closer to every gamers paradise!!

Summary: Simply amazing..
Review: This is the fourth title in the Grand Theft Auto series and by far the best one in my honest opinion. It was also the first game I got for my PS2 and man, I was hooked on it for days -- it's THAT addictive. One of the major highlights of the game is the radio stations that you can channel through while you're inside a car cruising around the roads/streets of Vice City. It features many 80's hits including Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean." The graphics are outstanding, very realistic and the climate change is also there! when you point your gun at people with the target button, they will react just like how real citizens would and some of the stuff they say is funny. You can pretty much free-explore all you want, you can visit malls and weapon shops, steal any car you want, beat up a cop and steal his car! watch out for the choppers! you can blow them down with missile launchers. I don't know how to further elaborate, you just need to play it for yourself. There are TONS of missions so you will never get bored, you can even pilot boats, helicopters, motor bikes and a wide variety of cars. This game is HIGHLY recommended if you want something that has strong replay value AND if you're an action and Scarface fan haha.

Summary: Great, Politically Incorrect Game
Review: Well. How does one describe (...), senseless violence, running away from law enforcement authorities? It's incredible fun--especially because it isn't real. The game basically allows you to send all of your pent up anger and use it for something somewhat productive: to test what kind of world we can live in if we were able to do anything we wanted, if, at least, for a limited time period. Could we really handle it?

Probably not.

The game asks you to see how long you are able to survive with many officers on your back. But without them, almost anything is possible. You can basically be the person you would really prefer to be, minus the consequences. An excellent, politically incorrect game.

Summary: GTA goes retro!!!!
Review: Like GTA3, this game is tons of fun, this time it's set in a 1980's Miami parody! The free-range open 3D environment allows for hours of exploring fun in Vice City! This game plays like a combination of Miami Vice and Scarface! You play Tommy Vercetti, (Ray Liotta) out to find out who set you up and stole your boss' cocaine. The environment in the game is perfect, the architecture and feel of the buildings totally makes you feel like you're really in Miami in the 80's. There are new gangs to take on: the bikers, Haitans, Cubans, & more! There are new weapons, new cars, and you can even steal motorcycles! (which you can pull wheelies and endos on, tons of fun!) Another new feature is the ability to buy and own property! The characters are voiced from a wide array of celebrities, everyone from Phillip Michael Thomas (Tubbs from Miami Vice) to Jenna Jameson! The soundtrack is all incredible 80's music: pop, metal, hip hop, etc, no game ever has had as many good tunes! My only gripe with the game is that there aren't that many missions before you complete the game, but like in GTA3 there are rampages, hidden packages, and phone missions to keep you busy. Out of 10- Overall: 9.5 - Graphics: 8.5 - Gameplay - 9.0 - Replayability - 10
