WarCraft III Expansion: The Frozen Throne

Summary: 1 year of frozenthrone playing and im not yet tired of it
Review: There really isn't much original about the Warcraft 3 game, and its expansion Frozen Throne campaign. It's yet another clone of itself/StarCraft/Ages Of Empires, etc. etc. etc. where you build, upgrade, build some more, upgrade, start sending your forces out, upgrade, replenish your forces, upgrade, repel enemies that may be attacking your base(s), start wiping out major concentrations of enemies, replenish your forces and complete any upgrades not already made, and finish off all your enemies. This has been done a hundred times before, and I'm sure it's not the last strategy game which will use the same method. The hero unit in Warcraft is cool, though.

The game is really easy to start, and gently eases you into the game. The cutscene movies are incredible, the best I've ever seen in a game. It's hard to say which campaign was the best, but I'd have to say it's a toss up between the Orc and Night Elf ones. I didn't like the Undead campaign, but the summoning of buildings was kinda neat.

I did get tired of hearing "Frostmourne hungers" everytime I moved my Undead hero, though.

Review: The quality of this game is merely explainable.
If you like fantasy or strategy varieties this is a must have game.
This game offers many varieties of game play.
Story mode- To play missions, and build up your character
Single Play- If you want to take your time create your massive army and destroy the computers army.
And ... Online Battle System -this is the best mode of this game, you can go online and battle other people or create your own friendship/fellowship group to go battle others.

There are different races you can use in this game
Undead
Night Elves
Orcs and Humans.
The difference between warcraft the reign of chaos and this expansion is that in this version there is an additional hero you can have, which is very useful in this game, (before every race had 3 now you can have 4) ,plus there are new missions, battle settings and creatures you can use.
There are even many other types of soldiers and creatures you can use but heroes are the only ones who can grow in level, so they become the most powerful characters in the game.

In this game you have to create your own army, buildings etc... You obviously have to collect wood, gold, rock and other resources to have a great army.

The type of game play is like Strategy games (age of empires) but this game has better graphics than any other strategy game.

Obviously every game has good features and bad features and the only bad feature in this game is that you can only select a small number of creatures in your group, to attack other villages,which is why I gave it 4 out of the overall mark, but you still can have up to 30 or 40 in a group.

Anyways, if you like fantasy or strategy games, but even if you don't, this is the best game you could buy to have loads of fun and "Kick A*s" far better than age of the empires and any sort of game you could come across..

Summary: Best one so far
Review: This is, without a doubt, the best warcraft game of them all! I loved the expansion set, it had so many new twists and turns for each race, I never got bored in the entire game. If there was one downside to this game I would say it would have to be that it eventually ends, and we have to wait till World of Warcraft comes out. But anyway.......

This expansion set continues the story after Mount Hyjal was destroyed in the first new Warcraft Disk. Each race has so many different spells, upgrades, units, and heros it is impossible to tell you everything. However I will tell you that each new hero for the races are great.

The orks have The Shawdow Hunter, which can heal your troops, and even make them invincible for a short period of time! Of course, this makes the enemy units attack him right away. The Humans have the Blood Mage, which can cast the really cool spells like Flame Strike, which makes an area of ground burn, and pheonix, a bird that attack enemies with incredible power but also damages itself.

The night elves have the Waden, the weakest of the heros in my opinion. But it can cast vengeance, a spell that can bring back the spirits of your allies to fight for you for a period of time. And finally the Undead have the Crypt Lord, a huge spider like creature that can cast locust swarm and help heal itself in battle.

The buildings themselves have lots of upgrades also, but each one would be too much to list. But believe me, you will like how they have changed from the last game.

And now you can actually buy some other heroes in the multiplayer games. The list is: The beastmaster, The Dark Ranger, Naga Sea Witch, Pandarean Brewmaster [My personal favorite] and The pit lord. These guys have their own strengths and weaknesses, but you should definately use at least two in each game.

There is just too many things to name, you have to see it to believe it. Anything you can name they have changed or added to in this game. They even added two new races! The Naga, my favorite race, and The Draeni, another cool new race. This is just a great game, so buy it now.
