Rating: Summary: 3-D yeah right but still good! Review: First of all people. On the box it says that some of the game is in 3-D. Yeah right. When you put on the 3-D glasses it is not in 3-D. It does not even come out of the screen like in the real movie! Well their is one 3-D PICTURE AND THAT'S IT! THE REST IS NOT EVEN IN 3-D!!!!!!!! But oh well. The game is really chalenging. NOt FOR KIDS UNDER 9! OR EVEN HIGHER!!!! It is still fun though. You play as Juni looking for his sister Carmen who is stuck in a video game. If you saw the movie then you will get this. If you didnot then forget it. This game is really confusing and challenging. MABEY THAT'S WHY THERE ARE ONLY 3 LEVELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, lol. I was really hoping it would be in 3-D! But I guess that was a Big let down. I beat the game though. It was okay. Nothing special.
Rating: Summary: How about an actual review? Review: Hey slothmo, This is a place for actual reviews not your rants about pc versus dedicated game boxes. I saw that the product got one star, and if I hadn't taken the time to read your ramblings I might not have purchased the game. Don't give something one star and have the nerve to not actually have used the title. I'll send a real review after I've had a chance to play it on my SCREAMING FAST PC! W-
Rating: Summary: Why not PS2, why not GameCube? Why only PC? Review: If the site is telling the truth, Spy Kids 3: Game Over is only being sold on Game Boy Advance (GIVE ME A BREAK!) and PC (THE SLOWEST WAY TO PLAY!) If the game keeps true to the movie's plot line (which it should because it has been licensed over to Disney but look what happened with the Toy Story games!) You should be able to play as Juni in his search to find his sister in a game suitably titled "GAME OVER". I don't like playing PC games, while they are cheaper than console versions, the slow processors make the game slow. I just hop Disney decides to release it at least on PS2 or GameCube (seeing how I only have those two systems) because I would really like to play this. For those in the know, this should sort of play like the game .HACK//Infection Part 1 which is now on PS2 (IT IS A GREAT GAME!) you play a video game about a video game. Anyway, DISNEY READ THIS AND HEED!
Rating: Summary: Hard Drive Eater Review: My Grandson, age 6, didn't like the load time, nor the grapics, and the slow loading and game resonse. Beware this game claims to use 120 megabytes of your harddrive...That is just to load the game. After you play it a couple times (5x for my spawn) it creeps up exponentially! I removed it when it hit 5,419 MB. That's 5 gigabytes out of my 13 gig harddrive. Most games average 500 mb (ie spongebob, harry potter, etc. I could fit 11 of those games on this computer. The graphics are sickly compared to tying up resources.
Rating: Summary: Boring Video Game Review: My son is 6 years old and he hated the game. He played it for an hour and decided it was boring and not worth playing anymore.
Rating: Summary: Could be more.... Review: This has a nice interface with very smooth gameplay. ... Installation was perfect. Also, i checked the system requirements on the bottom of the box and it clearly stated all requrements. ... I have had this game since day 3 of release and can tell you there is not one missing requirement on the box. It's all there. This game is great for everyone in the family and 'almost' follows the ideals of the movie. Also, you don't have to play it in 3d. However, that's what gives this game its' cheesy fun value. Good game with not quite enough to do. But, what there is to do, is worth the money.
Rating: Summary: You MUST have a DVD reader to play this game. Review: We purchased this game for our children and tried to install this on our computer. Nowhere on the package was there any warning that a DVD reader was mandatory. So we tried to install the game through the CDRom and the system crashed. So we tried it again on the CD writer drive and it crashed again. So we uninstalled the game and guess what? The entire path to both CDRoms were obliterated and the computer was useless for ANY CD rom game or application - or system restoration! Even the computer manufacturer (HP) couldn't fix the problem for me after several hours of attempted repairs. Fortunately there are tech people at my work who were able to restore the system (two hours later) so that the computer works the way before the SpyKids 3 Computer Over fiasco.Maybe the game works fine if you have the correct specifications, but we had absolutely no forewarning on this. At least Disney agreed to refund the money (the retailer won't), but we are out the shipping, sales tax, and aggravation.
