Rating: Summary: Fantastic Review: A great game, with many weapons opcions, big grafic.. I'M ADDICTED!
Rating: Summary: Not worth a new-game price. Review: A poor game all around and vastly inferior to SOCOM. The animation of the on-screen characters is pathetic, shot Iraqis go flying through the air like they're made of styrofoam. The comabt is not very realistic, nor are the graphics, nor are many of the sounds and voices in the game. The worst thing about this game is the weapons targeting. Your character can target automagically, except when the game messes up and swings the gun in some wild direction, blah, it's not even worth another full sentence. Avoid it.
Rating: Summary: conflict desert storm Review: can't use the arrow keys to move forward etc.options won't let you change the movement keys.grafics are good except objects in the distance.this is the jack of all junk
Rating: Summary: played it for a while then so what? Review: CDS is not awful, just full of holes in what could have been a great game. Here's why. You have 4 men on your team, and you can play any of them. The control and aiming system is not intuitive - Deadly Dozen Pacific Theater did a better job for a lot cheaper. The real killer for me was 2 things. First, the enemy AI is just awful. The tanks have unerring aim and will blow you away immediately when they see you. But the footsoldier AI is terrible. They simply rush at you with no sense of tactics. Many times, I have seen up to ten of them rush around a corner to be blown away. Now, if you were a soldier, would you run around a corner if there were a mountain of your dead buddies in front of you? Probably not! Like so many other games, the computer simply throws hundreds of baddies at you in an attempt to hide the awful AI. Even so, I played it for a while until I got to a mission where I had to drive a special jeep. The controls were very frustating. When you saw an enemy, you had to stop driving, switch to the player holding the rocket launcher, fire, then switch back to the driver. Most such games have a control where you can aim the gun and drive the vehicle simultaneously. But not CDS. After being blown away 20x, I simply stopped playing and put it back on the shelf. The graphics are quite sharp however. If you want a fun squad based-shooter, spend the extra money and buy Ghost Recon, Raven Shield or even Call of Duty. You can do some fun things in this game. In one mission, you have to destroy a mobile scud launcher with a tank nearby. I was able to trick the tank into blowing up the scud. Then I crept up on the tank and destroyed it. That was fun. To me however the real test of game is not did I enjoy a few select levels - heck even part of MORTYR were fun - but will I keep coming back to it. This game fails that test.
Rating: Summary: Very well done military sim/shooter Review: Conflict: Desert Storm is very well done as a military simulation for practicing basic infantry combat tactics, while still keeping the game really fun on a shooter-type level. There are not very many games out there with that winning combination of realism, excitement, enjoyment, and playability. This is one of the few that successfully combines all of these elements.
Rating: Summary: Very Good. Minor Cons Review: It is a very good game. Graphics are intense and the realism will keep you addicted. Many options and voice phrases. The only downfalls are that the system requirements are a little high for us kids with poor computers, and the price should be a little lower. I would say, you SHOULD buy this game. But wait till the price drops.
Rating: Summary: Difficult, but lots of fun Review: The graphics and sound effects are great, and its fun controlling 4 guys.My only 2 bad points: 1) You have to waste a save at the beginning of a level 2) Can't control mouse sensitivity. In a close firefight it is very hard to aim quickly. Overall, a fun game.

Rating: Summary: Wouldn't recommend. Review: The graphics really hurt this game. You can barely see the enemy unless they are two feet in front of you. Your character is also very slow to move, aim, and fire. I would go with Ghost Recon
Rating: Summary: Not My Taste Review: The graphics were o.k. Unfortunately the game is extremely hard. Although hard the game is fun. I just wouldn't waste my money on it. I don't think it's worth it.
