Summary: Should Be A Hit
Review: I got command and conquer (the original) when I first saw it at my friends house a few years ago. I had never once played a strategy game or even seen one before I saw him playing it. It didnt look that great at first but then he let me play. Ever since then i have been hooked on many strategy games such as the C&C series, Starcraft, and Kingdom Under Fire. When Red Alert 2 came out i was real exited. I got it the day it came out ignoring a friends suggestion to wait till it went down in price. I played the game an awful lot and got hooked on it and its unique and detailed graphics. I should of known they would make an expansion pack and here we are. Im sure it will be a hit with new units for allied and soviet, alond with a 3rd team. And of course me and many others cant wait to see tanya again in many new movies.

Summary: A few tidbits
Review: Well, I have been fortunate enough to learn a few things about this highly anticipated expansion and just thought that I should say this- It will rock. Yuries Revenge will have all the aspects of Red Alert 2 along with a host of new ones. To start with, there is something that has never before been done on a C&C game- a third faction. In this case, the Yuri faction. Yes, that means you have the Allies, the Soviets, and the evil Yuri fighting againt each other all in one game. Some other great features include new untits for the allies and soviets, including Boris, a new soviet hero who bombs building at long range, the soviet siege chopper, which doesnt get nasty at all untill it lands, an actually big tank for that allies, and new game features including 3 mutiplayer campaigns (yes, I really mean multiplayer campaigns) where you and a buddy fight 3 missions per campaign as each one of the three factions against the other two factions. There is also one multiplayer super-mission in which you fight as the allies and the soviets both teamed up against Yuri. The people at Westwood designed this mission to kill. You probably won't come close to beating it the first 40 times you try. The all-new Yuri faction is not physically strong, but uses its opponents poweres against them. For example, mind control toweres- the first 3 units that dare to enter into it's range are yours. Also one of Yurie's super weapons can be used anywhere on the map like a nuke- only it doesn't destroy the other guys units- it takes controll of them. *Tip-- Spread out your appocolypse tanks if the other guy has one of these* In short its gonna be a great game and well worth the money. You're gonna be impressed the first time you play it. - The Amazing One

Summary: Red Alert 2 Expansion Pack...
Review: The Red Alert Expansion pack is pretty cool. you can have Yuri Primes and such which means.... You can take over the whole. You have no use for tanks and infantry anymore, except for escorts, etc

Summary: A Fine Game
Review: Command and Conquer has given the gaming world all that it will ever need in real time strategy. The intense action-packed movies and gameplay keep gamers satisfied for hours, even days, with it's power.

The only downside I have to say about this game is a slight inequality between sides, but really it makes sense in the kind of war we're talking about here. I think that the Command and Conquer game makers are masters at giving the world what it wants- and this is the latest and the best.

Summary: Command and Conquer: Generals
Review: Overall, the game is a pretty good buy. The armies each have a unique feel and play differently. The battlefields interact with your units, trees crash down as tanks roll by and civilians run screaming from your forces. The animated explosions can be spectacular, and combat is very dynamic, it doesn't drag at all. The skirmishes are very fun to play, but the campaigns are rather lacking. There are practically no plotlines, and most missions simply require you to destroy the enemy base. I was able to use the same simple strategy to beat 5 out of the 7 GLA missions.
The game designers obviously took alot of influence from the movie Blackhawk Down. Not only are many of the missions very reminiscent of the situations in the movie, but some of the music in the game seems to be lifted from the movie's soundtrack. However, the music in the game is actually pretty good.
While I wasn't bothered by the fact that one of the armies were terrorists, I think that Generals takes it too far in the campaign. The last mission ends with a captured ICBM fitted with bio-weapons being launched at an American city. This seemed very disturbing that they would include that considering the current state of the world.
Despite this, I think it's a great game for the money you pay, provided that your system can handle the requirements.

Summary: Excellent Game
Review: The world of rts games relies on an age old sytem of gathering resources, build a city, then defeating your enemy with an army. C&C Generals takes it one step farther with new modern day units and unbelievable graphics and sound. However enjoying this game as it was meant will require a powerful computer. WARNING: The system recomendations for this game are fairly low compared to what you will actually need to play it. Your are gonna need to have aP3 or P4 pumping out around 2+ Ghz. A 128mb Nvidia or ATI card is highly recomended.Additionally 512mb of ram makes the game run much smoother. However once you play it your eyes will thank you. The solo missions are a liitle un-challenging,but the awesome cut-scenes make up for it,however the real beauty of the game lies in the multyplayer modes. If you have a powerful enough machine and you are a fan of rts classics like: Warcraft series, C%C series, Rise of Nations, Age of Empires/Age of Mythology, then you MUST buy this game...you will not be dissapointed!

Summary: Garbage
Review: Ive forced myself to play about 10 hours of this game, and that was all I could stomach. I love RTS' and most CnC games but this one is icredibly boring, absolutely horrible graphics, and a complete letdown. This game isn't half as good Yuris Revenge. For the love of God EA, go back to 2D. Glowing brightly colored boxes slowly moving across a screen pretty much sums up the graphics of this game.

Summary: Awsome!!
Review: This game rocks!! I love Red Alert and Red Alert II, but this game is 20 times better! It's real time strategy about wars that are similar to the wars we are facing across seas. I highly recomend this game, and if u have spare money, get the expansion pack zero:hour, which expands your battle options. But overall, this game is the best game C&C has come up with!!
