Rating: Summary: Dont Bother, wait for Never Winter Nights, or Shadowbane.. Review: The original game EverQuest, was a great idea, but the people at Verant have taken that idea, and bent it out of shape for the only purpose of slowing down character advancemet so you will have to play longer, and pay them more money! This is not an RPG, unless you read that as... Really Profitable Game! Varant has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen in any company, and their basic assuption is, the player is always lying! If you dont believe me, check out the EQ web sight message boards, And see what other players say. But do it in the next two weeks, because they are about to clamp down, and censor the boards of any un-favrorable posts. They have banned peoples accounts perminatly over some of the most ludicrus things. and once your account is banned, you might as well throw away your CD, because its now useless! if you ever want to play again, you have to buy a new copy, and start all over with new characters. If you enjoy frustration, and boredom, play a character past about lvl 25, you'll have a ball! You may find it fun at low levels, but try to build a high level character, and you hit the "hell levels" that take forever to get through, and then the next level penaltys for death, are 2-3X normal, and throw you right back into the hell level! again, if you dont believe me, check the message boards. see for your self! If you want the most powerful items in the game, expect to spend 12-18hr non-stop on-line to get them! (this is not an exageration!) And even if you totally discount me as a disgruntalled player, just check out the web sights, befor you buy this turkey! Save your money, much better things are on the horizon!
Rating: Summary: Ruins of Kunark Review: Well don't get too excited. It seems Verant is interested inselling the scraps ommited from the original design because of the popularity. But this time with Lizard people! Woo how unique. Anyway the game still has no story, no coherent history really, no roleplaying potential, just a nice item to buy so you can continue to raise stat scores to unparalleled heights. Have fun (I wish they would sell something from the good people at middle earth)
Rating: Summary: ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS "SWWWWEEEEEEEEETT GAME! " Review: This game is the best RPG on-line. You meet so many diffrent people and get to chat with them. Its extremly fun playing. Everquest Ruls!
Rating: Summary: EverQuest: Addictive, but not very fun. Review: Never will you find a community of gamers that so openly hates the game they play, yet refuse to stop playing. Every single community forum is filled with whining and complaining about everything wrong with the game, and for the most part, they're right! Then why won't they stop playing? EverQuest is addictive. Horribly so. Once I started playing, I spent every single shred of my free time playing it, even late into the night while my wife wondered if I would ever come to bed. At some point, I realized that I was playing so much not because I was having a good time, but because I was addicted. I suggest you find a game that you can play for fun, not because you want to spend hour after hour on an incredibly overcrowded server sitting in the forest waiting for an uninspired monster to respawn so you can see if maybe this time you can finally get the magic boots of Dungia, or whatever.
Rating: Summary: Pretty graphics, wretched game Review: I had fun in Everquest, for a little while. I could list the things I hated about this game, but I'm going to save the energy. One thing I must mention is that the gameplay is crap. The game progresses terribly slow and worst of all it doesnt progress anywhere in particular, just up. Up another level, up another level, up another level. Its about as much fun as climbing a ladder.
Rating: Summary: EverCamp Review: I spent many months playing this game and finally reached the ultimate goal - Level 50 and there was absolutely nothing left to do. Throughout my entire time to level 50 I spent hour after hour killing the same things over and over and at times sitting in the same spot for hours sometimes even days just to get one particular item. I will admit the game is fun at times, but ultimately more frustrating than anything. I only recommend this game to extremely patient people with an insane amount of free time on their hands.
Rating: Summary: Excellent- however it can be TOO adicting. Review: I've been playing for about a month now, and I think it is a great game. The world is very large (in playing over 40 hours I've seen through about 1/15th of the world). I warn you though, it can be too adicting. You may find yourself staying home on a Friday night to play!
Rating: Summary: Best RPG I ever played Review: If anyone is familier with MUDS/MOOS they were text based MMRPGs. Everquest takes it that next step by making it look like quake with all those people people role playing. The graphics are amazing and the interface is good. The best part is that you make a lot of friends you can group with. If your looking for an online RPG this is the one.
Rating: Summary: I don't know what everyone else is talking about! Review: I don't know what everyone else is talking about. I have never played a game that is so in depth and diverse. You can choose from a ton of different combinations of races and classes. I have 3 different characters in this game and I play the one that reflects the mood that I'm in. It's a great game and I recommend it to anyone that enjoys a great RPG or just videogames in general. I'll see you on EQ sometime I'm either Conlan(Wood Elf Ranger), Kenzie(Barbarian Shaman), or Donaugh(High Elf Enchanter). Buy this game it's amazing.
Rating: Summary: EVERQUEST RULES! Review: EVERQUEST RULES! That is all I have to say. Get this game, it never gets boring, very addictive, and AWESOME! Get it!
