Summary: The good and bad
Review: I purchased this game five days ago and I am very pleased with the game overall. The game has a steep learning curve and some performance issues which have driven some gamers away, but I recommend they return.The Good
- The mission system means there's always something to do when your friends are offline (and you can also do missions with your friends using the team missions or a mission key duplicator)
- The graphics are phenomanal, beautiful sunrises and you can sit on a hill and look out for miles.
- Swimming (I thought that was really cool)
- You can buy planes and cars and fly anywhere in the world (planes are a bit too expensive, though)
- You can travel quickly using "The Grid" (A hacker-movie-esque virtual reality teleportation system)
- Easy to use chat, friends and team features mean you can stay in touch with your friends and go hunting or PvPing with them
- Some of the monsters (eg Brontos) look very cool and there's a lot of attention to detail with graphics.
- Movement prediction means lag is usually not a problem, even if your ping is 1000! The Bad
- Performance (especially in busy areas) is slow and painful.
- PvP is not very involved, you just press the attack button and sit back.
- Low pings are uncommon.
- The story is more of a Webzine than ingame.
- Missions are repetative.

Summary: Great Game w/ Great Support.
Review: This game is awesome. I've been playing it for awhile, I have not that many problems with lag accept for average MMORPG lag, and it runs on my relativly low end system. I have a 500 mhz Celeron, 256 ram (trust me, you need it a good supply of it in anything, and this is one of those "things"), 32 megabyte Nvidia GeForce 2, and a pretty stable cable connection. I get a ping of 56, better than many games I play. There's much depth in this game, and it's a lot of fun. The reason I say, "Great Support" is when I received the game it had an invalid cdkey, or it's been used, or something along those lines. I was MAD. I've read reviews that said it takes two weeks for Funcom to respond to a problem. This isn't true, unless your problem is relativly unimportant. But back to what I did. I e-mailed Funcom's support, giving all the details of my problem and offering to scan my cdkey to send it to them if needed be. So, I had some time on my hands, so I decided to read Akira volume 2, which I got for xmas.. yay!... When I was done, (this took about 10-15 minutes) I checked my e-mail. Inside was a nice little message giving me a new, working cdkey. Thumbs up, Funcom.

Summary: Finally, the game is like I expected it to be.
Review: It's absolutely been worth the wait. Anarchy Online is the game it promised to be. The game has improved dramaticly over the last few months and is still evolving (like any Massivly MultiPlayer Role-Playing Game should) and I just want to shout: "Come and play!" We, the players in Rubi-Ka (the world in Anarchy Online) are having a great time together. I also would like to stress that these types of games (MMORPGs) is new, fresh and constant evolving, tweaked and improved, thus any "old" reviews does not give it justice. Play it yourself, follow the continued story, interact/socialise with people from all over the world and have fun. That's why we play isn't it?

Summary: This is the game of the future!!!!!!
Review: People have the wrong impression of this game. I reluctantly tried the 7 day free try offer on the official Anarchy site, after being told that the game wasn't really that bad. And guess what, this game is so superior to all other MMORPGs out there you wouldn't believe it. My DAoC account is gone.
If Funcom can manage to keep up the quality on the patching they will have a million subscribers in no time.

Summary: Anarchy Online is the most complete MMORPG
Review: I have been playing AO for some time now, I tried it when it first came out and then it had some teething problems. Funcom has now removed almost all the bugs, and they have added lots of gameplay and new content. In my opinion you meet nice people in AO, and the graphics are just amazing. The story is beatiful put into the game. I have also played some other MMORPG, but none of them has the same quality as AO has.

Review: This game beats any other MMORPG out there (I have tried them all!). Graphics and sound are out of this world, and gameplay is excellent. The game even has a story line!
The problems in the first few months after release have been taken care of with the latest patches. Enjoy!

Summary: Nice game but some bugs still
Review: Ok. I downloaded Anarchy Online from the website about a month ago and have played it quite a bit. I can certainly agree with the negative reviews that people have. My system, though, seems to work quite well (Dual Pentium 3 933Mhz, 512 MG RAM, ATI Radeon All In Wonder, and a T10 connection). Ok so I have a high end system and good bandwidth. The game is fun with this system so it can work well but there is lag and bugs still to be found (can't brawl after unequiping rifle). Yes, also it seems like a game where you level just to get better weapons and fight harder monsters but that can still be fun. It is a gorgeous game nonetheless. Chat system is very nice too when you communicate with other players.

Summary: Anarchy?? Its F.A.B Virgil!!
Review: Well, ok, i had some problems getting started, but once the autopatcher was working it seemd to fix all the problems i initially had immediatly. (any 1 ever tried autoupdating CS or HL will apreciate how things can go wrong, but this is perfect.) This has been written on the Nov6 2001 and i can tell you this, i have not encountered any bugs at all (apart from getting addicted), you r able to do single missions or team mission,, where are in limitless supply. I bought Arcanum cos i liked the Magic and Tech combination, but Anarchy Online Kicks its scrauney butt!!
With first and 3rd person cameras this game is the second most visually graphic and detailed game i know (second to Max Payne).
Well if u like the MMRPG's then you should get this, cos lets face it, when a game this great comes out it'll be around for a long time and thing are only gonna get better!! (somehow!!)
