Summary: One of the best shooter em' up of all time
Review: This game is so incredible,the graphics, the sound quality, the digital music, the gameplay, the AI, everything about it....When I first stepped outside of the prison ship using opengl support(Using 3d hardware rendering on your 3d video card), along with 3dhardware support, sound quality at maxium, and using a pentium2 350, tnt 3d video card, 128 sdram, and 16 mb of harddrive space, it ran incredible, it was UNREAL.But I've been hearing about why 3dfx support from voodoo video cards looks so incredible, I've been wondering that it's more incredible that opengl or direct3d support.Still, this game {kicks behind}!!!!!BUy it!!!!!only 7 dollars today, stop by at eletronics boutique and buy this game!!!!!(I reccomend at least a shiny new pentium two, a whole lot of memory, for a example, 128mb of sdram, 6gs of harddrive space, and a powerful 3d sound card, and a 3d video card with lot's of ram on it.)

Summary: Low-quality game for a non-wealthy single player.
Review: This game is sooo below the expactations! It's got really nice graphics, rather good sound, but it lacks the most important thing; REAL GAMEPLAY. Unreal is incredibly boring when playing alone, and if you don't own one of the most expensive computers around you can just throw your low-guality game right down the trashcan. But if you're mister wealthyboy go on and buckle up for a quite nice ride in the Online-game store nearest to you.

Summary: Unreal requirements!
Review: This has to be the most detailed and beautifully rendered game ever made. The monsters look real, the weapons look sleek, and the animation is very realistic, with no jerkiness. Unfortunately, this game requires totally unreal system requirements! Anything less than a PentiumII/300MHz processor runs like garbage unless everything is turned down, and, well, there goes the graphics! This game was the chief reason for my system being upgraded! Also, remember the sleek weapons I described? Well, they're sleek, but that's it. For crying out loud, it takes THREE HITS with a ROCKET LAUNCHER to kill one of the BASIC enemies (the Skaarj). There's no bang to them at all! Plus, another good thing about Unreal is the multiplayer games where you can play against computer-controlled opponents (bots). Sounds good, right? Wrong. Unless you put the skill level down nearly all the way, simply aiming a gun at the bot will cause it to zig-zag in a way that is impossible to hit, all while shooting at you with godlike aim! Other than the steep system requirements, the difficulty of the bots, and the bangless weapons, the game is very good and highly customizable for all those hackers and map makers out there. You'll get your money's worth, but I hope you're good at strafing while shooting, otherwise you'll NEVER win!

Review: This is an awesome game if you have the system. A voodoo or equivalent accelerator is a must. This allows the special effects to be implemented (i.e. lightening bolts, reflective surfaces etc.). You are missing half the game if you only use the software rendering. Also 64 - 128 meg of memory dramatically reduces or eliminates the disk caching during level play, which is really annoying as the action pauses while the level info is being loaded from the disk. I have 128 megs and there is no caching during level play and is very smooth.The music is good, like a movie, it serves to enhance the experience without getting in your face too much. The sound effects are good, except for the one poor guy they seem too kill over and over again (only one voice for the tortured prisoner). Other than this small thing, the sound is very good. A great game if you have the system. If you don't you will be disappointed (especially with software rendering, which is slow and no special effects).

Review: Title says it all. Unreal is UNREAL, and I've been caged playing older generation games such as Quake and Duke Nukem 3D, since I haven't had an upgrade for my computer ina while. I have an N64, and games on that system are ok. But unreal is a true 3-D epic masterpeice mixed with run-n-gun oldskool familiar enjoyable game-play, and I really do enjoy playing it. It mixes a familiar most popular 3-D shooter genre with an amazing sense of adventure, and a awesome gameplay with great 3-D hardware acceleration use. The title says it all, pretty much. With my 3DFX Voodoo 2, 16mb video memory, I can play the game at a 800x600 resolution with all maxed out qual preferences 24-bit color along with MMX support and bilinear filtering and texture mapping plus alpha blending and awesome fogging intentisy techniques with bump-mapping support with SPETACULAR dynamic lightning effects and real-time realistic environments with an endless multiplayer universe and superior A.I, with a use friendly easy to use level editor, and true 3-D textures and smooth animation with transparent glass(breakable and dirty), water, and amazing sky effects and features, combined with non-stop action 39 heart-pounding punishing single player levels. WOW. And it came out in early 1998. With the latest 226f patch combining all the latest technical improvements and features, with full friendly technical support, it is truly unreal. And unreal also has a sequel, a expansion pack, another game based on it but is very popular massive fps named unreal tournament with a sequel and another sequel to it's sequel coming down the line by this fall, and many games that use it's holy to behold unreal engine, and this game for about a very cheap price, anyone will love thie xperience, and is a long and lasting enjoyable one as well.

Summary: Unreal is the best game I've ever played
Review: Unreal has had me enthralled for the last year-and-a-half since I purchased a copy and started playing this enchanting game. Unreal has superb music, great sound effects, and legendary graphics. The weapons you use are varied and fun to use. You encounter very lifelike enemies with impressive AI. The levels are very beautiful and they run the gamut from high-tech space ships to mystical landscapes to eerie castles and temples. Perhaps my only criticism is that Unreal lacks a scoring system. I would like to be able to objectively judge my performance as compared to other Unreal games I've played. Wolfenstein 3-D, for example,had such a scoring system. I can't guarantee that everyone will like Unreal, but as for me I will play this game over, and over, and over again!

Summary: It's call unreal because it is.
Review: UNREAL is a really good game some people are saying do not play this game or don't go near it. Well all you really need is to have a good computer with all the requ it say to have. With good music and very good storyline too. The people are a little pit bright but don't let that scare you. In one level all the lights will go out and you will near a very scary sound like something is right behind your back! It is different than Quake 2 a little, if you play quake 2 and play unreal you will know the differents. Overall UNREAL is a game that you don't want to levae, find how you got on that planet and slove how and way. And also if you have a 3D-card you are lucky to have this game.

Even though it eventually gets to be boring,It has a roller coaster-like ride that will make you hang on to your seat at the end. coarse' I wouldn't wat to spoil the ending for you.
